Typical Day - early shift 7:30 to 3:30
Emails as I was on the Service Desk, Did RMA for Computer Parts defective, purchase.
SAP data entry
Management Friendly and very focused, team effort.
Help Desk was brand new and during the implementation to have the employee's open tickets and stop coming directly to the Service Desk and adjusting to the new environment. 
Many activities, went camping with the IT department, we were recognized for the efforts applied will very nice bonuses as I was very dedicated and enjoyed my job. 

Loved my co-workers, but company was bought by an U.S. affiliate, and work life balance deteriorated substantially.  My boss a VP of Sales, was workaholic, unreasonable with requests.  He referred to me in an email as someone with not enough "horsepower" for the job, and I was replaced with a twenty something, moved to a sales operations position, overwhelmed with RMA requests, and no help in sight.  Was glad when they offered me a package and I could move on.

ATI was kind of like an engineering boot camp. You either learned quickly, did your job well or you packed up and went home.
Management wasn't ever very good on the personal level, but the upper level and business decisions were sound.
Co workers were smart, and we all did very well.
Once the company got taken over, it all kind of went to rot.

Very strong and innovative technology company.  Wiling to commit capital to invest in technology and growth before bought by AMD.  Great people and great technology with focus on customer requirements and satisfaction

Exposed to all the latest IT games as game samples were given out by the engineers for testing which was very cool. A very modern computer campus to be at. A convenient location close to highways.

Performed all task of an Administrative Assistant, organized weekly group meetings to track timeline on projects, prepared weekly report, liaised with other departments within the company.

Company with consolidated know now and innovation. Good work envirionment challenging and exciting. working for ATI  was a constant Learning, with colleagues deeply enthousiast and a carrying management

I had worked there back right before AMD bought them.
Unfortunately Management was petrolic and contributed negatively to the poor culture and atmosphere.  No chance of promotion or opportunities for advancement.

Great place to work at with good people but the PC market is not responding and sales are low. Was purchased by AMD

Company was acquired by AMD in 2007, no longer in existence as ATI.  Graphics Division in AMD still has a lot of former ATI employees.
