I have filled various roles such as Quality Assurance Manager, Process Special, Change Agent, etc,, all of which: 

- resulted in enjoying working with people of all levels (junior staff to senior management)
- learning that there are all types of personalities out there and there are many ways to complete the same activities
- the hardest part of my job is trying to explain a value added process to someone who is not open to change;
- the  most enjoyable part of my job is managing to communicate to someone that a change is required and being able to implement that change with organizational support/involvement.

A typical day is 7.5 hrs long with flexible start and end days. Flexible work conditions where much of the work can be done remotely with occasional requirements to work in the lab for tasks such as software integration and testing. Development work is typically completed remotely. Light travel requirements when COVID permits. Software development framework is Agile, with two week sprints within each quarter. Trust between management and employees is paramount and a priority. 

Typical day of work: It depends on the project you are working on; it can be good.
What I learned: They want to own you.
Management: It's a clan; if you are not part of the pack, you will never get a chance to grow to be a manager.
Workplace culture: it's a healthy workplace, otherwise.
The hardest part of the job is the uncertainty of whether you will still have a job in the next few months.
The most enjoyable part of the job: Depending on the project you are working on, you can work remotely. But they are getting away with that.

The company lacks ambitious individuals due to limited opportunities to showcase their full potential. Compensation and morale are notably low, and the management appears disconnected from the production process, often exaggerating achievements. HR is adept at persuasive communication but lacks effectiveness in providing support. Team building activities are no longer a part of the company culture. 
If you value your potential, consider seeking a more suitable workplace. This may not be the ideal environment for growth and development. 

They are an ottawa based company, bought the business in Toronto, and their marketing expectations are not realsitic. 2 rules everyone should consider when opening offices/buying business in other geographic locations. 1 - do your homework, just don't look at the books, 2 when in Rome - do as the Romans do. 3. There is never a free lunch.

Great team in Toronto, very knowledgeable and possess a sense of urgency when asked to find a specific type of talent. Very knowledgeable effective with local government and provincial clients.

I enjoyed working there and learned a lot as I had been a Federal Government employee previously.

When finalizing a proposal, it was all hands on deck and some managers would get involved.


The team worked cohesively on finalizing all proposals.

Adga is a great company excellent staff and management, people are smart, nice and steady.

There was a genuine caring feel amongst the staff when I was working for them. You can learn a lot and improve, as well as contribute to the overall growth of the company.

People will listen to you.

Great company that cares for it's staff. Your hard work is recognized and appreciated by upper management. ADGA retains and invests in their staff. Your hard work is worth the effort 

I have been working on Military bases thru Canada installing Fiber Optic for Classified Network. There are some down time that makes me wonder sometime if my job is secure or not. I'm bilingual
