A typical day at work, depending on the shift type included a combination of, team leading, customer relations, tight schedule planning, warehouse organization, aircraft towing and positioning, forklift operation, aircraft loading and preparation, time management, assisting with medevacs and overall maintenance and cleaning. The co-workers were excellent, and with minor issues with management mistreating employees occasionally it was an excellent work environment and work experience. The 12-18 hour days outdoors were very enjoyable even during the frigid winter.

Started my Apprenticeship towards my AME license here. I would say AirTindi is perfect for new apprentices with no experience as the company does a lot of heavy maintenance in-house and its very busy. A lot of room to take i initiative and managers are approachable. Company events are great and the corporate culture is very well known for being family oriented.  

Looking forward to starting a career I joined with no room in the department I was looking to get into, promised on several occasions to sit tight and I would get situated in no time. Months go by, years go by and they ended let me go. They say it’s family company and let you feel it from time to time. But you get used for what they need and then your dumped.

If you're willing to invest your time and energy into fostering productivity and results, you will get back what you give tenfold. 

Air Tindi is great at creating an inclusive community, supporting opportunities and proving the tools necessary for advancement. 

The job as a ramp agent can be challenging and sometimes unforgiving. I recommend to stay in the study of aviation if attempting to work here or any other airport job. 
Hardest part of the job was communication. I had a hard time keeping track of what was going on. Ask questions all the time, will save you from possible dismissal

As an airline this is a great starting point for anyone looking into aviation or a guaranteed first job/experience. No value in being a long term employee, and very old school culture and management. 

The people make this place great, not the upper management.
Remember everyone should be a team and need to be treated fairly and respectfully. Very poor and disrespectful upper management.

tindi is a grate place to work grate benefits wouldn't leave if i was going to stay in the north

Good place to get your first PPC but the path to Captain is slow. Tendency to use and abuse entry level pilots. Great scenery in the Arctic, hard work loading and unloading planes. Great people to work with.

Best job I’ve had. It has allowed us as a family to achieve our goals and objectives with life and location of residence. Other opportunities came with my my employment at Air Tindi.
