Working on the most innovative commercial aircraft.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Getting yelled at by the manager who was never happy and had anger management issues.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Variable depending on the team, can't speak for the entire company. Specifically in engineering and in Air Systems, a lot of bullying was taking place. Some employees liked to play games and focus on protecting themselves.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Attending morning meetings, dealing with suppliers, giving visibilities on deliverable status, updating project schedules and prioritization. Collecting work impact, supporting problem report, technical meeting to provide assessment on a product change request.

This place will hire you as a temp, with no benefits, no job security, no PTO, no training, and then keep you hanging around for months doing the same job as everyone else for less money. If they actually hire you, you get to look forward to more responsibilities for terrible pay with still no training. They will try to bleed you dry with no acknowledgment of good work, but write-ups for any mistakes. Your very purpose in life will be to do just enough work to never hear from one of your 4 different managers. They promote their friends, there's no union, and HR thinks you are human garbage. This place destroys good workers. The turnover rate is insane. But hey, decent benefits I guess?

Good benefits, but low pay with no real increases. Some people working here for 15+ years make as much as the new people getting hired. It doesn't make sense. They have people with a couple weeks experience training the new people. Their turnover rate is incredibly high because they don't treat their employees with even a modicum of respect. We are just cogs in a machine, they don't see us as people. They create a problem for production, then ask you why your hours are up, when you tell them the problem, they just tell you to do better. If you can put up with the low pay and management stupidity, there are good health benefits, annual bonuses, and paid time off.

Management could be improved greatly due to the lack of competence and employee empowerment. 
Standard on rewarding employees is outdated and not sensible, which created frustrations to high performed employees.
Toxic working culture.  
Career advancement is limited. 
Training opportunities are plenty, however in-house training quality is a concern to almost all employees.
Company is going through a chaotic period of time. 

Pros:
Extremely large operational sites and offices hence there are lots of mobility opportunities around the globe. Salary is decent compared to other companies (in France).

One of the best jobs I had in years, working with people who will listen to you and work together with you to solve problems. When it comes to work as a team these guys know what it means.

The leaders / managers I worked with were excellent, listened to you and valued your opinion.

Overall, I consider the division of Airbus DS Communications I worked with (Emergency 911 in Gatineau) a great place to work and with nice people.

There was once a time when Airbus was a go to employer. Now, they seem to be racing to the bottom and can honestly claim first place at something for once. In the past I would have recommended people to apply. Now, I changed my opinion and tell them to apply anywhere but here. Not a happy place. Not a "family" atmosphere. Not a place managed well. You have knee pads, you will make it far.  Want to advance, you likely will regret it later. Like being harassed by all manners, you will enjoy it. Otherwise, hard pass. Go somewhere else and be happy.

- Have plenty of good ideas but budget unknown...
- Want a good positioning on the IT market in Montreal
- Managed by people in Airbus Toulouse, no commitment for local expertise.
- Don't use any latest development tools  in project management like Agile + PM Book
- No respect for contract duration
- It's only  an assembly line for A-220 lead externally

Interesting, challenging & innovating. Incentive & recognition always praised. 
Remuneration satisfaction. Activities & meetings & socialising. Creativity. 

Great job but you need to keep to yourself you can't have any sort of social life in work due to the toxicity of the people and how they will take everything you say as you trying to br against them specifically. They can complain about something but as soon as you agree or discuss it with them they will go over you and say that you said bad things about them or the company.
