I love working at AMARANTH not because it’s easy but because it encouraged growth in me. Days can get really busy and sometimes it’s challenging but I work with a really good bunch of people and we all get along so well.   I have never dreaded a day having to go into work. I wake up happy that I get to go and work with the people I work with. I am grateful to work for a company that cares about me and has given me an opportunity to grow my career.

Working for a locally owned company that sells the products of local and sustainable producers is a great way to make a living. 

It is fast paced, but the team is positiv. Ownership is always looking for ways to improve and be more in alignment with their mission vision and values.

The customers are very loyal and love our business and become part of our family.

Amaranth’s external image had always clashed with their internal policies. The owners don't value the staff or company. Stay away if your looking for a professional job or a place to make home. The office people are especially out of touch.

Spend your day looking after customers who already want to be there, workplace culture is the best you'll find. Everyone is very supportive and wants you to do your very best. 

They fire people for being sick. Absolutely brutal.   Dont apply.  Treat you poorly.  Save your time.    Apply somewhere else.  They fire long term employees all the time without cause

It’s a good store to work (family owned, local products), but there’s a lack on training new staff and specially on communication.  Store Management is also not strong enough.
