Project Coordinator resposabilities:
• Working within International, US, Canada Sales Divisions on pipeline area.
• Coordinate necessary details (where applicable) with the Account/Sales Managers for each area/project.
• Providing full project leadership and coordinate the internal team from job launch to completion
• Review of all order information and plans to familiarize with orders current scope. Monitor order status & perform customer service functions for all day-to-day and project orders. Process all order/project (order entry), change orders following change order process. Coordinate all additional service requests. Initiate and maintain contact with customer on all aspects of order/project. Complete and maintain project schedule/status reports for all projects
• Participate in Department meetings to further develop the department objectives
• Analyze drawings and specifications to estimate required products (quantities, labor and lead-time necessary to build the products).
• AutoCAD drawings (“for presentation purposes” and “as built”).
• Prepare cost and lead-time summaries and prepare a clear proposal for approval and submission to the customer. Well-organized and able to consistently meet deadlines while working with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and send standard quota based on customer request, order entry, post-sales follow-ups and support
• Prepare and follow-up for RGA’s (Returned Goods Autorization) for all returned items.
• Maximizing the business relation with existing accounts. Create new accounts and proceed with sale whenever Sales Team needs support.
Customer service responsibilities: order entry, customer support in coordinating repairs, placing orders, processing returns (RGA), assisting customers with website navigation, assisting customers with technical support and shipping info. Also, I was the interface between customer and the companies, coordinating internal Departments for having the order sent out accordingly and the customer satisfied with our professional manner and support

Getting by each day in the company was brutal and very toxic for my general health. This is starting from the lies of the sales person who'd try to do things unprofessionally, rush you for things you can't control rushing and not listen to you in any way or help you when the customer wouldn't get back to you to complete these rush requests and them lieing about different things due their ego. 
Worst of all was the middle management assistant to the manager at corp whom from the first day would look down on you unless you were from their culture or someone they knew personally or else you were a nobody to them where you'd be extremely disrespected especially being new. Completely unwelcoming environment minus some production workers which were friendly to work with and completely unhelpful managers. This assistant would also yell at you when they didn't know answers to things you asked them for help as they didn't have patience or knowledge do her role and were to egoistic to properly calm down and help. Toxic is best way to explain the environment at corp which had huge turnover and if you go to the manager to bring up issues some such bullying, to come to a solution, they'd think of getting rid of you instead of coming up with better solution or getting rid of the main toxic individual. 

This company fosters a very toxic work environment. Training is very minimal and management does not do a good job in providing assistance when you need help. The pay is so insultingly low, especially for the amount of work that is piled onto your plate and the fact that the company is highly profitable. The owner is out-of-touch with his staff (save for the sales team - the prized possession of the company and the only people making any decent money) and as such, the rest of the company is believed to be expendable. The turnover rate is through the roof with people either getting fired for poor performance (again - little to no real training/guidance) or quitting out of frustration. You get medical benefits after the 3 month probation, 10 vacation days (which you accumulate over time) and just 4 sick days. Other than that, there are no real benefits to this company. Do NOT accept a job here if you're looking for a career and a workplace that cares for its employees. I would recommend this place if you're looking to gain more office experience, but be prepared for a negative experience through and through.

My topical daily routine consists of programming unit models into template format to make it as automated as possible; update library which I have created from the beginning; training technicians upon as request; attending meetings where possible and many more other duties. What I learned is that there are many ways of getting work done and finding the fastest, easiest way to understand and do it right and then translating the information back to the team is part of my daily routine as well. The hardest part of the job is getting information because we are all busy in our day to day routines, getting information from anyone takes a few days to accomplish.  My most enjoyable part of the job is when I see my programmed templates go to work...helping the technicians and estimators and production teams fast pace their work is a bonus for me to see!

Amateurs in management.. Ego is running high for 2 of the VPs that in my opinion have ruined the organization. One of them is racist and has the tendency to be abusive. They don't want to pay attention to the core issues, ALL blame comes down to production. Production staff is treated like garbage. Salary increments are worth pennies.. pay is much lower than the industry levels. VP of Manufacturing fires people if he doesn't like them personally.. He promotes people who aren't qualified, but are spectacular at kissing butt. If you like to smooch your way up the ladder, then THIS IS YOUR PARADISE. They had numerous outbreaks, zero social distancing inside production areas. Some divisions of Amico paid their staff extra money during the pandemic, but Amico CORP didn't pay anything extra. NO VALUE FOR THEIR WORKERS.. 

Stay away... do NOT ruin your career. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
it's a tough environment no question about it. it is a growing comapny with a lot to develop and learn. Managements overall can be structured different as there are too many opinions and "captains" who think they have the right to approve, request, change things etc. Some who do have the position to approve certain things get over ruled by others and so on... 
Growth is available - it is just up tp you to be creative, hard working and make sure you are seen. Work Hard and smart, you will grow!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
the different chains of approvals. marketing is weak. website needs serious help. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Team buildings, corporate event gatherings etc. lunches, bbqs. there are some fun stuff  i guess...

Avoid this company at all costs if you have any real skill, ambition, goals, self respect, desire for growth, desire to learn. VPs/Managers (Upper and Lower-level) are severely incompetent at managing PEOPLE and have no legitimate experience outside of Amico. Management does not care about the average employee and is evident in their stubborn attitudes, toxic work/office culture, and overall disgruntled sentiment of the employees. Above average work expectations for below industry average salary/pay. THIS COMPANY IS UNABLE TO RETAIN SKILLED EMPLOYEES BECAUSE OF THEIR UNWILLINGNESS TO FAIRLY COMPENSATE! I could keep going but I'll stop here, the majority of reviews here share my perspective. 

The culture created was such that anybody from different background can be at home with. The work is very fast paced and exciting. there are no boring, monotonous day at work. There is a lot of pressure, but that just add to the excitement. The management structure is very open. Middle management have the leeway to to do things their way, as long as it achieves the goal. The fun part of the job is the relationships created between co-workers. We have created relationships that do not just end at the work place - but also extends outside of work. This makes going to work very pleasing - despite the pressures of work.

A typical work day involves interfacing with colleagues from 12 total divisions, the president of the company and of course our channel partners throughout the Middle East and Africa. 

During my tenure with Amico, I have experienced rapid growth in all aspects of my professional skills and leadership abilities. I was given the opportunity to take charge of a growing territory and develop a strong restructuring plan, and put in place the foundation for growth for the next 10 years to come. 

The most enjoyable take away is the strong relationship built with our distribution partners on the ground.

Managers and executives are not familiar with their company processes and are unavailable and unsupportive. They creat an unhealthy environment while preaching "growth mindset" on surface. 

Lots of politics, favouritism, and selective compliance.  Managers play gatekeepers role with no mechanism for knowledge sharing, and keep team members even leads isolated so they can weaponize the knowledge and control  people. 

No update on company directions and visions. 

Low productivity, no team support (unless you count lunch as team support) , low transparency, low integrity with lying being an acceptable form of communication no physiological safety.
