What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I had 2 different General Managers in less than a year. Both of them were bossy, lacked soft skills, passive-aggressive attitudes,  without a team-building mindset, giving the employees more or less shifts to work depending on their humour. Very stressful work environment. It would be great if, in the future, General Managers have training in training for managers in soft skills, communication, and team building.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly between sales associates, and some of the assistant managers.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Keeping clean and organized the floor and fitting rooms, helping and educating customers about the products, placing online orders, working on the cash, organizing the stock and shipping online orders.

I was hired as a seasonal employee and was given 0 shifts and was barely accounted for. The store is never busy, management gets mad when you talk to people you know but hide in the back and do nothing or are on their phones half of the time. Wasn't even notified that I was let go after the contract ended, had to reach out and ask. Overall, poor organization to work for. 

I love working here! The aesthetic and vibe of the store is what makes working here a very chill environment. The managers are kind and will push you to test your selling abilities (in a good way) and strengthen your knowledge product. Hours are based on your ability to sell, so if you’re looking for a challenge at a cool brand for women + girls, this is the one for you!

This was not the best experience for these reasons:

-bad management 
-no hours
-favoured certain employees 
-unprofessional and disorganized 
-used to set up the store to wth out even receiving shifts afterwards

You can find something better

Great work environment! Very positive attitude especially woman-driven environment. Coworkers support eachother while getting work done & having fun doing it. The one downfall of retail is if you don’t meet profits for the week, there are no hours to give.

Not an enjoyable environment. Did not enjoy management style. Management was picky with what they wanted their associates to be like and if you didn't fit their ideologies, they made your time there unenjoyable.

Hours are never guaranteed since they are inconsistent with scheduling people. Co-workers are great, management not so much. There isn’t really any room for growth, it’s the type of job for students when they need to earn on their own.

Could be good if you’re a student and need something that’s flexible and part time. Extremely hard to get hours, don’t count on it happening. Expect to work 1-2 shifts a week. Management is fairly disorganized and all over the place. 

Toxic management, non accommodating to staff and constantly gossip about associates. Higher management is also toxic and does not take complaints seriously.
