Work is very interesting and consuming. All day goes in figuring out issues in product and deliverables. I learned balance, dettachment and organisation. All employees keep complaining about how poor management is with their bad decisions, micro-management, too many meetings and lack of ownership. Its a very bad culture with no rewards, no outings, no gatherings, no ifts, no appreciation. The hardest part is to get management take right decisions, for example plan QA well is always skipped. Learning about your stream and product out ouput is very interesting.

BAE Systems is one of the largest defense contractors in the world. They are involved in a range of areas divided into land, sea, air, space and cyber. Since it is such a large international company with so many teams in so many countries, if you aren't located in a front and center location with visibility to management you can fall between the cracks.  One note, they have some great offices in some of the best locations in the world.

You will have  the opportunity to work with great people in your immediate team if you work in delivery. However the org is built into little kingdoms and you will receive very little support from the remaining org to help deliver the project. The product is quite innovative but is bogged down by older methodologies and practices.

If you want to work in an environment that is counterintiutive and relies on old boy network design and inefficiencies this place is for you.  You'll be asked to go into the office to fix production problems as there are no other access points for the team asside from the fact that the infrustucture provider has people working from home in Europe.

I would recommend to anyone 

I don’t recommend that company at all.
The managers have no idea what’s going on.
But they believe they are the best managers ever.
The managers don’t know what work you will get next week.
They don’t bother to tell you if you are dismissed next week too.

Good working culture with plenty of support and development and training opportunities. Had however number of people who had been with company for long period and were coasting but rest ensured delivery of projects

The culture of the company is all about politics and nothing to do with  getting the work done efficiently. There are people drawing a salary who don't have any meaningful role.

Great company to work for and very interesting to work in such as recording into a spreadsheet to designing a website also going to another site to help set up an event for schools.
