A typical day involved handling accounts payable and receivable, vendor communication, invoice processing, statement reconciliation, and weekly AR reporting. I learned how to work independently, prioritize urgent tasks, and communicate efficiently with both vendors and internal departments.
Management gives freedom to organize your work, and you can learn a lot if you take initiative. The workplace culture is friendly, and people are supportive in general.
The hardest part of the job was managing workload during peak times while ensuring accuracy. The most enjoyable part was building good relationships with vendors and clients and seeing smooth results in the system after everything was reconciled.

Hands on approach when diaging exhaust electrical systems and understanding them, this is my battle

BDS Has a Productive Work Flow and Culture

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
With larger equipment It's Busy Most Times, usually have other projects to keep me going, or in house maintenance

Work place was close to home. Quick commute time from home.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Unable to communicate with other departments, job security, workplace harassment, outdated equipment, rushed deadlines. Constant miscommunication.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stressful, dirty, loud work environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Uncertainty, work flow is highly inconsistent. Constant shortage of parts.

BDS is organized and a systematic in their daily operations. Employees are treated fairly and the workplace is extremely friendly and supportive. A typical day as an advisor is filled with managing fleet expectations while managing the workflow along with your team. 

Team work is extremely emphasized and encouraged as the service department works as unit. My experience here so far has been astounding. Looking forward to learn more about fleet service as a I progress.  

Great learning environment and lots of room to grow. 
Team leads, forepersons and management are genuinely interested in developing the skills to elevate everyone and willing to map out a good path for success.
Lots of variety of trucks that we work on with OE scanners.
Shop is very clean and  big with lots of space to work and maneuver trucks and trailers around.   



A typical day is busy but rewarding, managing complex repairs and keeping fleets operating safely. The position has strengthened my understanding of fleet operations, technology, and long-term equipment management. Across all departments, the leadership is supportive and collaborative. It’s a great place for apprentices to grow and for technicians to expand their skill sets.

BDS is a good place to work if you want the opportunity to grow as a technician! If you work with them they work with you, suggestions are heard and encouraged to making the place better! Family environment with friendly staff 

No support by management. Company culture lacks team work! Unsure if the job is stable. High employee turn around. The front desk along with management is really confused. Parts department lacks management and is extremely slow. 

BDS Fleet Service is an excellent company to work and grow professionally. The work team is marvelous, the hours are flexible, and the leaders of the company are exemplary people. Besides, they recently remodeled their facilities, making it a very nice place to work.

I started off as a detailer moved my way to a technician really enjoyed working at BDS the family culture was great.  I had to relocate me and my family to USA but i owe it to BDS for making me a skilled technician today as i am now the shop foreman at BMW
