For the brief few months I worked for bni i seen from the beginning the lack of support from immediate  supervisors.They would rarely   want to returns text messages or calls from drivers especially  if there was a problem  that had to be addressed at their level.Seems very disorganized with regards to deliverys and as a courier  driver told to deal with it or had to sort parcels outside on ground in snow rain etc.  .Senior managers are not told everything by lower supervisors. Not what i thought how a irving owed company would run .

I enjoy working alone and driving so this job is perfect for me. I come in, grab my route and go deliver. No issues and the customers are usually great. 
Mail needs to go out, there cannot be back log, anyone considering this job needs to consider that. You're expected to get as much out as you scan in. Unfortunately at times you will have to clean up your coworkers mess (left behind packages).  The only bad thing I can say is the pay cut was very disappointing and you will go through breaks, suspension and tires but I find the pay still worth it.

Things were great up until the original manager left. System and schedules were put in place so each person could have a day off. Each locker had captains who coordinated within their own teams. Bni was doing a great job, people got their packages, but once the good manager left, head office was calling people and yelling at them or laughing at them. There is no human resources, the CEO is non existent, upper management is suffering from conflicts of interest. Overall a really bad business.

Extremely unprofessional and unreliable. The company is not run well and the management is awful to employees. They do not pay for your hours of work unloading the truck, and if you do not show up to do so you will be threatened with termination. Save yourself the time and effort. You will not make as much as they advertise unless you are a relief driver. Otherwise the price of gas and damage to your vehicle far exceeds any pay. 

Great job if you like working from your car and basically for yourself.  Great environment and people to work with. How ever lack of pay. Was told $200.00 a day and got my check for the pay period and for 1 no deductions are taken which was no big deal but it was not 200.00 a day pay. And never received a pay stub. Emailed them about it and still have never received a pay stub. I don’t not recommend working for them unless you like Getting less then what you’re told.

Time off, they want you working 7 days a week

It’s pretty good other than some concerns with overall fairness

Knowing how long this organization has been.in existence, I have been regularly surprised by how disorganized the operation has been. Communication is often unclear, and best advice usually comes from the bottom, as opposed to management. There seems to be little, genuine interest in improving the organization, in spite of their shortcomings.

There is absolutely no support from management. The local ground team repeatedly broke the rules. There is excessive abuse and workplace violence. The company refused to deal with it in fact they did not even respond to emails.

They have no sense of what is important in small communities, trust, reliability, customer knowledge, service of drivers. Regardless of how much the customers like you,they will still terminate your contract if you question any of their management actions.
