When I first started working here, it was not an overly pleasant experience, it was very long hours every day and the people who worked here at the time were not the happiest of people which made for an unhappy environment. As time has gone on and people have rotated out, everyone's attitude has changed a lot and it's a much much more pleasant experience. 

I started off in Housekeeping and found it wasn't exactly the right fit for me. I gave it a go for awhile but ultimately decided to ask if I could be switched to front desk. Management was very accommodating of this and moved me over as soon as possible. Management does have some work to do, as stated in another review, it gets quite confusing sometimes because management always has different answers to your questions. I believe it is slowly getting more and more structured though, so that is definitely a positive change. Another thing that I think management could work on is making sure people aren't talking badly about other co-workers during work hours. I've noticed there are a few people who get angry quite easily and like to talk a lot of smack, it's quite frustrating when even certain managers are doing it. Otherwise though, everyone is very relaxed for the most part and it is really a good place to make friends. The people who work here currently are very very kind, the GM often buys us lunch on Saturdays to thank us for our work. There is also free staff accommodation which is amazing if you want to save money while you work here. (also unheard of in the Bow Valley)

The summer time is very busy and it can be stressful, especially in Housekeeping. You have the opportunity to work overtime though, which looks very good on your paychecks ;) Plus, you can't complain about the surrounding area or the views.

All in all, if I'm being honest, there's not a whole lot to complain about. Few improvements of course, but I think there's a bright side to it all which makes it worth it.

I got my own room in staff accommodation and lived with 5 others people and everything went well. You have a bathroom for 3 people so it worked well and it does not feel crowded at all! 
You can use the resort amenities at all time (laundry, pool, hot tub, gym, movies, games, etc.) 
I started has a housekeeper and end up at the front desk.
We have activities with the employees once in a while and the company pays lunch sometimes during the weekends. 
Management are always grateful for extra work you do and give praises and they are super friendly and easy to talk to. 
If I could complain about something, i wouldn't really know if i could really point finger at someone.
I feel that personal issue (ex:argument between employees) are not taking care of properly. If you have an issue with someone, people will speak behind your back and not to the person responsible (supervisor or management) which makes it hard sometimes. When you do speak about it, there is no follow up or update about the issue beside a "I'll take care of it". 
This not only makes it hard at work but where you live too, because you have to share staff accommodation with them. 
If you complain enough to the general manager, you usually get what you want or part of what you want pretty easily. 
I believe that management/supervisor should get some training to at least know how to deal with those issues properly.
An other point I did not like is, especially at the front desk, noboday says the same thing. I could ask the same question to the supervisor and manager and get 2 completely different answer. It gets really confusing.
If you can live with the drama that happens once in a while, this place is a dream. Super easy to work here and staff are usually super friendly.

I worked as a housekeeper: the work itself is sometimes physical and you have to have a fast pace but in general it is great because you work in team and you have no pressure. The staff and the managers are friendly and very nice to talk to. 

The environment is beyond expectations: you work surrounded by the mountains and by deers. You have access to the pool and hot tub and sometimes the managers offer the lunch on Saturday. 

Besides, the accommodation is free, which is non-negligible when you want to save money. The accommodation depends on the time of year, sometimes you could have a cabin usually given to the clients, or the staff accommodation where you share the common areas and the bathroom with 3 other people. 

I had a wonderful time working here and I enjoyed this experience!

Beautiful place to work, but unorganized and problematic.  The staff does not get any proper training, management favorites workers and makes you promises and never commits to it. Issues are not delt with fairly or solved by any means. I believe this place has much more potential then what it has now.

all round a good group of employees who all get along very well we catch up regularly and have a like minded job mentality. no matter the job at hand it will be completed to the best possible way. i feel like there is always a project to be completed and you can feel proud of your work and appreciated.

Ideal summer job destination if you want to save some money on accommodation. Mostly young people and great work atmosphere. Love the pool and hot tubs for free. It's a fun place to be at.

work outside in beautiful canmore, get experience with general maintenance and upkeep, work with friendly people. I really enjoyed my summer working here but it doesn't seem like a good long term option.

This is an ideal location between Banff and Calgary. The community is very family friendly with a safe environment to grow in.
