What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing it's was a horrible experience very unorganized low and short staff everyday It's mentally and physically a depressing company to work for.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Every bit of it. Starting from management to other workers residents doing damage to workers cars while parked out in the parking lot One-On-One residents not being supervised.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment was horrible. The building was set to be retirement and slowly turned into long-term and isn't the building is not big enough for long term hallways are not big enough for mechanical lifts, residents and workers.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful, overwhelming, physically and mentally. Straining, underpaid, overworked etc

When hired the process was all over the place, I had to call them in order to get any information and they rarely called me back. They are not good with schedule compromise. I gave them days that I can’t work because of another job and they scheduled me those days anyway... The employees are very nice and helpful. They  also always switch their workers around in different sections which makes things a lot harder for new employees starting out. Their shower/bath rooms are a mess. Staff does not clean up after themselves and there is chairs and equipment scattered everywhere.  Also 12 people per psw? There needs to be at least two psw’s per section for prime care.  Also the facility is a maze and very confusing and they don’t have signs directing you where certain rooms/halls are.

Its nice working with the residents and staff. In nursing homes more than 1 PTA is needed to work with the residents to accommodate their availability

I enjoy my job. I love knowing that we are all working together to help the residents have a dignified and valuable life regardless of their age and capabilities. I believe people here care about the residents and show it.

Management same as everywhere else ! But the residents and families are amazing and the staff make this old building feel like home and are far superior to the newer facilities in the area ! 

I learned many things each and everyday.
Fed the residents their meals.
Performed daily living activities(shower,brush hair/teeth). Help them get in/out of bed.

Typical Day:
-Visit residents
-Carried bunny around
-Helped restorative care staff
-Helped activities staff
-Played bingo every single Friday

Great staff, great management, great opportunities to advance in various positions within the company. Great place to acquire new skills that will help develop oneself.

I thought it was a good first clinical experience I learned a lot about the elderly and life inside nursing homes. I believe it is a good first experience for any student.

Excellent place to work!! Great Team of Registered Staff Members, PSWs, Kitchen staff, Housekeeping staff and Recreation staff! I enjoy working with residents and my coworkers.
