Worked there for less than a week and genuinely it was an odd/uncomfortable experience. Despite not even being a transgender individual, though it wouldn’t make it right if I was, the employees right off the bat refused to use my pronouns or even the correct name. I believe they thought I was transgender, which again doesn’t make it right, but doing something so blatantly was just horrendous.

All the employees would go silent the moment the boss walked into the room, and watching everyone go from smiling to just cold was really unpleasant. I had a meeting with the boss where I had done a single piece of paperwork incorrectly, and despite trying to explain I had asked 3 different people who had told me to do it the way I had he still got very immediately angry with me, and then afterwards just laughed which again was just uncomfortable. There was also no coordination in my training despite knowing I’d never been on a production line, and it was originally not the job I had gotten which I will expand on next paragraph. It clearly stressed out the other workers who had lots to do on top of that. 

On top of that, I’d be weary for anyone going to an interview as he had specified a different role completely and refused to talk about pay. After being hired I would end up being given a different job than the one agreed upon with a different start/end time. When asked about my options about changing it to one of the other bosses who happily said we could, he would end up sending me a text saying I wasn’t needed back later that day. I’m just happy I had taken my shoes home that day as I planned not to return after seeing the aggressive, unorganized micro-managing style. 

This is a great place to work! I have really enjoyed working here. This work is interesting and its not repetitive and your switching it up and doing new things often which keeps it interesting. Management is great and is very understanding and kind.  I would recommend working here as the team is small and you get to know everyone.
