So, I wanted to drop a few lines about my gig at BICC (that fancy senior high school I'm part of). You know how it goes – life at work isn't always rainbows and butterflies. I've seen some chatter out there with negative vibes about BICC, but honestly, I don't get it. My personal experience? It's been pretty darn positive.

Let's be real, no workplace is a 24/7 party. We've all got our ups and downs. Me too at BICC. But you know what? Amidst all those moments, I've grown and learned a ton. The kids I teach, they're from all over the world. I'm talking international students with dreams and futures to shape. Teaching them, guiding them – it's a real deal of fulfillment.

C'mon, life's a mixtape of good and not-so-good beats. BICC might have a few tracks that don't hit right with everyone, but for me, it's been quite the jam. So, let's not get bogged down by the negativity out there. I'm here, doing my thing, loving my students, and finding my groove. And that's what really matters, right?

I worked at BICC as an Office Administrator for a while and overall it was a good experience. The school has a very multicultural environment, so every day you meet people from different backgrounds, which keeps things interesting. My coworkers were supportive and I learned a lot about how an international high school operates.

On the flip side, the job could get really busy, especially around admission season, and sometimes the processes weren’t very organized, so you had to figure things out on your own. That said, it definitely helped me build my problem-solving and multitasking skills.

If you don’t mind a fast pace and want hands-on experience in education and student services, BICC is a good place to be.

the school itself is beautiful, but behind the shiny new computers and the brightly lit classrooms it's all rotten. The admin staff is mean to the teaching staff, the VP isn't even licensed to be in that role. The counsellors just yell at the students and take their money, making them wait in long lines until 9, even 10 or 11pm (the school day finishes at 7.30, much longer than any other language college in the area). The teachers are far too qualified to waste away in a hole like this. Don't work here, the moment you do something wrong, even if it's an accident, they'll fire you without notice and forget you ever worked there, making obtaining tax documents and your ROE practically impossible. I regret ever stepping foot in that place. Save yourselves!

I want to share my positive experience working at BICC. I've found the environment to be supportive and conducive to both personal and professional growth. One of the standout aspects of BICC High School is the collaborative atmosphere among colleagues. The team's commitment to working together and fostering a sense of unity significantly contributes to a positive work environment. I've always felt encouraged to share ideas, ask questions, and contribute to the collective success of the school. my time at BICC High School has been both rewarding and enriching. I would recommend BICC to anyone seeking a workplace that values collaboration, growth, and a passion for education.

Teaching at BICC has been an overall good experience for me. The international student interaction is rewarding, and I genuinely enjoy that aspect. Plus, the principal has been supportive of my initiatives. However, there's room for improvement in terms of communication among staff and professional development opportunities. Overall, a decent private senior high school to teach at. 

extremely poor management that bullies staff. they lack proper training and would expect you to stay back and wait for them. no support available as they dont trust their staff. other staffs will throw you under the bus. expects a lot of things but couldn't give proper standard training and support. awful working environment

People naturally cater to negative reviews and people write negative reviews at a much higher frequency than positive reviews especially when they are solely from fired employees, disgruntled coworkers, etc. The voices of a few are only being seen and heard and this isn't fair to BICC and its dedicated team. I have worked here for several years and I definitely love the school and my students. 


They said employees can take 2-week vacation but they're upset when you took those days off, and if you don't take them, they didn't pay vacation days when you quit. Finally people leave that place and they told others untrue things about that employees. They wanted you to work overtime and never paid you for those hours!


The people are great, and the management team is very committed and supportive. Be prepared to work hard to care for the students and collaborate with your colleagues to get the work done. 

The most enjoyable part of the job was being with students and seeing how they learn. working for this school was a very good experience. The only thing that makes me nervous was not being sure to have a class or not for the next semester.
