•	Respond to end user call, live chat,  and e-mail requests according to the contact center guidelines
•	Troubleshoot Fax, MFC, P-touch and typewriter calls, live chats, and/or e-mails on the following topics: hardware programming and set up, diagnose hardware related issues and conduct proper inquiries in order to accurately assess the customer issues
•	Determine the best solution based on the customer issue on a first contact basis
•	Ensure proper and timely recording of calls and/or chats in CRM and follow our social media response protocol and processes for forum intervention concerning our Brother technical inquiries and support web tools leverage.
•	Meet or exceed monthly performance targets including quality, attendance and punctuality as well as average handle time

Daily workload consisted of communication with customers, both internal and external, covering anything from inventory situations to pricing or product information, pulling reports for various departments, tracking promotions and processing orders.  During my stay I learned the use of SAP and added to my knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and Office, as well as how to streamline multitasking in order to eliminate unnecessary wasted time.
I always found my coworkers to be extremely helpful in all areas, friendly and outgoing.  I began work as a temporary employee and was very happy to join the team as a full time, permanent employee.

Avoid at all cost.
Work environment is toxic.
High stress and understaffed. 
You’ll be chatting with 3 people at a time all day providing sales AND technical support.
Management acts all knowing but has zero technical experience or experience doing the actual work.
Team ‘leaders’ don’t  get hands on when workload is at an all time high and wait times are through the roof. 
‘Supervisors’ do not even handle supervisor calls... they get delayed as much as possible (days) and forwarded to floor staff to handle.

They are the opposite of how leaders should act. In the end both floor staff and customers suffer. High performance will not get you ahead here, the ability to gossip behind other’s backs will.

A typical day involved getting the enormous amount of work done under very tight deadlines while trying to cater to upper management's desire for you to drink as much of the coolaid as they have. Management is far too focused on project management theory and not at all enough on having enough people employed at the company to meet the excessive demands of the various departments. This coupled with low salaries leads to extremely high employee turn over accross all departments.


Brother is not just a place of work, it's a second home where Everyone is treated like family. What more can you ask for, Great benefits, salary, etc..
Brother also privide training for ongoing development so that you can try your hands at other roles within the company. 
The culture at brother is one that I have never seen before, we work hard but we also find time to enjoy ourselves from company BBQ's to our end of year parties and so much more.

- The days are very busy due to lack of ressources. 
- I learned a lot about technology.
- Management is partially good, but sometimes demotivating.
- Culture is fast pace, lots of changes, some good, some not. 
- The hardest part is trying to excel in something when you are juggling too many projects at the same time.
- The people I worked with is the best part.

Way back then....organizing the daily service needs, refurbishing big box store Brother labeled products from calculators to knitting machines.  A small crew that got er done every day. The Sales manager was tuned in and was very helpful in my apprenticeship, and my future. Seeing happy customers leave with their repaired product was and still is what drives me.

Brother international was  and is still one of the best place to be,because every one has a value in the company no matter your position or office you occupy.They also offer opportunities for the employers to grow in the company by giving them training and tools to work with.

The place is run by dinosaurs who implemented changes without really changing anything, I got the feeling that someone did not like me, possibly because I had worked with my hiring manager at a previous employer. I am certain that I was undermined by the same person who most likely undermined the manager who hired me 

*  twice-a-month ordering opportunity with most of products.
* rest of time is to track production and incoming orders to match the changing demand.
* the management neither have in-depth business knowledge nor having much of decision power.
