As a cashier, i would be responsible for quickly and efficiently cashing out customers. I would have to price match products, follow and learn new Standard Operating Procedures as well as work in fast paces environment with excellent customer service.
I learned to process returns and refunds, restock shelves and work prioritize tasks. 
I had mastered time management and customer care, as it was very important for flow of the store. 
I would delegate to employees.
I learned administrative tasks such as price changes and sale tags as well as ordering products, and receive shipments.
I would have to make fast and effective decisions for solutions of problems that arise.
I was Health and Safety level 2 Certified in 2017
The most enjoyable part of the job would be the customer interaction, as well as working along side pleasant department workers.
I am always looking to improve productivity and efficiency.
The hardest part of the job would be the fast paces environment.

While the 2 years I have worked at Chalo Freshco, I have learned a lot of things that happen around minimum wage-paying jobs. The managers have little to no patience with people who first join the jobs and expect them to have the skills and expertise of someone who has been working there for at least 6 months. They are constantly on you to get your work done despite the business or the amount of work that is being handed to you. In short, they think you are some robot that has infinite energy and is near perfect at what you do. All the employees that I work with, complain about back pain that they have endured due to the work stress they put on us and our age ranges from 16-23!

They hired us for overnight, then shut the overnight department. After we gave daytime availability, they give minimum hours, which sucks cause you didnt sign up for daytime to begin with. You never get the day off or the days you want to work. Management decides what day you should work. They have unrealistic goals and targets. This is the worst company I've ever worked for. The Management believes in ' You live to work for them'. 100 of their staff left their jobs in the first 3 months of their opening. That speaks volumes about the company. Management is not approachable and lacks some serious skills.

Chalo FreshCo is a productive workplace where customers are always treated with the a smile. There is a very diverse staff for this diverse supermarket. Management is easy to talk to and will always make you feel welcomed and appreciated at work. The customers are not always the nicest but the cashiers, clerks and management always treat them the best. It gets hard some days because it gets very busy and the customers and staff become irritated but it's also good knowing that you're helping the business thrive by doing your job.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Best part is you have a job in this hard time. That's it. Everything else is worse.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything. They only hire their own people. No diversity nothing.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is like New Delhi's pollution and culture there's no culture. Just boot licking.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Donkey labour or doney work typical day for me.

•	Provide customer service to meet customer needs while adhering to any questions, product locations and any other requests
•	Keep department shelves and display areas stocked, neat and clean and the product rotated
•	according to the store and product standards
•	Maintain cleanliness and organization of  the store, back room, storage and surrounding areas
•	Unload, receive and inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy

Hardest part is the worst management and tries to pressurize the employess at work all the time.

Store operator has no leadership quality , no employees management. Tries to create dispute among the employees.

Its been 4 weeks that i have been a full timer but  I just want to leave now because of the things howa around everyday in the store.

FreshCo is a discount grocery store chain that offers a variety of products at affordable prices. They are known for their low prices and good value. They have a wide selection of products and offer a variety of fresh produce, meat, and dairy products. They also have a commitment to sourcing local products and supporting local farmers and food producers. 

Great staff and management. Fun working environment. Very fast paced in all departments. It’s union if your a full time employee you’ll get the benefits.

All the people are amazing. Many opportunities to learn. It has its busy and slow times but it's quite balanced out. The people working in every section of freshco are great at their jobs and that's great for everyone involved, especially the cashiers since they don't have to wait around for a person to check the price of something.
