I worked from home for 3 months with 1 week of at office training. The entire job was sometimes difficult as it is strict hours and hard to suddenly have less personal time. I learned how to work new programs and  talk to many different people. I never had a problem with any of the management and they were all very helpful. I never felt nervous to ask questions as the management were very understanding of new employees. Although I only worked with co-workers during training it was a great way to meet the people that may go through the same problems as you do when learning how to do things on these new programs. The hardest part of the job was learning to not get upset with the way some people speak to you on the phone. The most enjoyable part of the job was all of the new learning opportunities. I was also enjoyable to be able to work from home. While working from home, your whole paycheck is yours, no money goes to transportation, uniforms or such things that may be necessary in other jobs.

I came in at 9 am to sit at a desk for 4 to 7 hours. They gave us one 15 minute (non paid) break. We make calls to hospitals and banks to provide customer satisfaction surveys. The job was very repetitive. 
I learned telephone etiquette, and how to be more courteous over the phone. I also practiced my multitasking ability. 
My co-workers were amazing. Although they prohibited us to talk to each other, we still enjoyed our company. We made plans outside of work to go out and have lunch or dinner. More than co-workers they became my friends.
I don't have nice things to say about management. The person they have is rude to the employees and doesn't know how to treat them. 
The hardest part of the job is at the beginning, to learn the different programs used and the rules of good market research. 
The most enjoyable part of the job is to see the friends you've made.

Salary: 12/hour
No benefits, don´t pay any break. No coffee and anything to eat. Only water.
The work is in a call-center. Everyone stay in a tiny cubicle, unconfortable chair, lots of people talking at the same time, It´s hard to listen who you are talking.
Work 4 hours is ok, more is stressfull. 
They give a very poor training, and they have lot of exigencies, you have to achieve high goal and most of time this doesn´t depends of you. They can see if you are calling, but they just care if you have completes surveys.
Sometimes, there´s no job, so, you just stay at home, with no payment.
If you do any small mistake you will get an warning, if you receave 3, you´ll be fired.
In my branch, theres 7 people that supost to be leaders. but they stay all day chilling, talking, and don´t work... sometimes they enter in a room and laugh so loud that bother us.
I can say that is a bad place to work, with a terrible mood.

There is no benefits at all. They have a such bad management, they pay different salaries for people there are not English native speaker.
What the point here in Canada the people from other countries supposed at least the average, not less. 
The training is poor, they complain a lot about small things, there is no pattern on how suppose to call, even the supervisor and the manager don't match the ideas .. so the employee always receive bad feedbacks because of that. They say the employee could receive a good feedback, but it doesn't exist. 
Several times there is no work for all employees, they ask for you stay at home and don't pay you even one hour. They only provide water. The kitchen there is no even a TAP. Cido looks like the Canadian companies that hire many employees to work a part time and flexible time. And you have to find a second job, because only working for Cido, you can't even survive.

Along with being able to speak one on one with the direct lead hands for the projects, the manager(s) were always supportive. Everyone was welcoming, well-versed, polite and management were open to new suggestions. The hardest part of the job was leaving it, due to personal scheduling and relocating. Most enjoyable part of the job, was finishing a study with a client and closing off with good remarks or changed positive views. What I learned and take with me, be helpful and mindful because one helping hand leads to good positive nature all around.

my daily job is conducting market research on behalf of fortune 500 companies. Compile, record, code results and data from interviews or surveys. Data analysis, Data entry, Data management. also,  i need conducting field research and surveys over the telephone and in face to face utilize tablets in friendly and engaging manner. Deal with unpleasant, angry, or discourteous individuals. Advise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.

I worked from home using my computer and a phone. The typical day starts with me logging on our company website and checking what survey I would be dialing that night. I then would proceed to log on to the company dialing program and make calls. If the supervisor wanted to tell me something they would call or message me. There was no interaction with coworkers. The hardest part would be the long waiting between calls, while the best part is working from home.

It was a work from home job and very simple work doing market research for various places. I enjoyed to talking to people all over Canada and getting interesting conversations out of them. Wished they paid more and hours were more consistent.

It was very interesting research about industrial equipment , but maybe the questions could be more simple.
 Very good people all my coworkers, but the supervisor could be an inspiring person and not just a policewoman.

They don't pay for breaks, nor in shifts of 8hs.
If you are needing a quickly and easy job its good for you.
Its also stressful if you work for long shifts by the phone specially when you are pressured to reach deadlines all the time.
