This is a wonderful company to work for. They really work to match you and clients together to ensure not only your happy with your work but that you'll work better with their clients as well. They offer free training to enhance your skills and understanding, are very flexible, and the most understanding managers ever who want to help you. Then on top of that you can tell that they communicate very well with each other because they always know who is where, whats going on, and changes any clients have. 
If you doubt this you'll soon realize how wrong you are as the people who work for Classic have worked there for a very long time. The clients don't complain cause the moment they have an issue they tell the managers who resolve it asap. This is honestly a company that cares about all aspects of the organization and I am proud to say i worked for them. Keep up the amazing work folks your doing so awesome!

This company has got to be my absolute favorite place I have had the pleasure of working. I was hired on as a registered Home Care Aide and quickly advanced within the company. This company actually recognizes and appreciates hard work rather than just expecting people to work their butt's off with no reward. The hours are very flexible and they work with any scheduling needs an individual could have. Everyone is very supportive, reassuring, and friendly to work with. The clients are wonderful to help and overall the job is just a 10/10 I would recommend anyone that cares for the elderly or just the general population applies here. It can also be a wonderful way to 'test the waters' in health care if you are unsure about committing to schooling just yet.

Very unfair employers/ management. Worked for the company but very bad experience, there's never any communication between the staff and management. After we get a client than they will try somehow to cut our hours by telling us that we don't do minor stuffs for our  clients, and they don't listen to us that if what the  client has said is true. After cutting off our hours, they will start giving us no client at all and even after asking them what has happened they will just say that we didn't do small things for the client like "brushing hair, cleaning after BM,  cleaning their face and  etc", when we try to explain ourselves than there's no one to listen. 
I don't want to even refer this company to anyone for such incompetency, as I have seen there are many employer's who do listen to both sides of story and then make a decision. 
Worst company I have worked for ever.

My clients and seeing them smiling 😃

For me was the first time visiting a client 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It was good when Iwent there. Didn't go there very often but when Idid they all where very pleasant 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Get in morning get ready for my day , go to my first clients . Greet my clients with either a good morning or after , clock in ask client what they would like done today , go about doing my duties when done ask if there is anything else they would like done . If that is all then I say have a good rest of your day and see you next week . Then I colck out and move on to next clients and do the same until all my clients are done for the day , then head home .

I'm typically working for different clients at home.On the job learning opportunities how to interact with Canadian. learning I must return back to schools to earn a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits. Classic life Care don't offer good benefits. working alone at home is so frustrated. The hardest part of the job clients don't really how to treat employees. I have been treated like slave. too much brain manipulated, too much pressure on the co-workers. Working at home is not my Typical Day. Everyday I am so stressed out. I have to much work experiences for me to be a selective for home care aide.My typical day at work was taking care of sick people. I have no break time. Most enjoyable part of the job is being independent. Spent few hours doing nothing. I was quite smart at school. so it was so difficult to be treated as nobody.

Amazing onsite support from the office manager and coordinator.  Great people to work with. Paychecks were consistently short with no help from the payroll staff in Vancouver. It was very frustrating. The head office is always saying they support you but when you have an issue like your pay always being short they ignore you.  Office scheduler was ok but never seemed to understand her job as my schedule was always changing. Pay was really, really low and no benefits only $18 per hour. I would not recommend Classic LifeCare. Too much hassle for very little pay, You get more pay, better and consistent schedules elsewhere.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Supported by a really caring office manager, she makes me feel appreciated and is always looking to make sure I'm happy in my job. The clients are really so wonderful too.

If clients are sick, or there is bad weather which makes it hard to get to clients 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very supportive. I know I can talk to my boss and my coworkers have been really helpful with buddy shifts and extra training if I need it. She always checks in with me and I love stopping by the office 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Visiting clients for personal care and companionship.

Doing home support job with Classic LifeCare clients needs to be organized, punctual, caring and compassionate. Job is not hard once you have the skills, training and most especially caring attitude towards the clients. Sometimes challenging too because you deal with different person multi-culturally. The most enjoyable part of the job is when the client's families treated you just like a member of their family but the hardest part is going to areas unfamiliar for the first time as you don't know what to expect first hand for the client. Good thing the management always provides a detailed care plan and history of the client.

Clients are mixture of injury related care and senior care; short term care vs long term care.
Learnt to deal with various clients in different neighborhoods- affluent/low-income. Got a lot of exposure in that sense. 
Workplace culture seems positive and warm when you visit the office for an interview. But when you join, you are not part of that ‘warm’ environment- I’d say as HCA you are like an outsider who just delivers services to the client for the agency but you are not really part of the team. 

As an HCA myself it is with absolute discust to recommend your loved one to either work for or to be cared for by this company. My daughter a new HCA was basically thrown into a situation with no training or orientation to a specific family jn which she works with full time. Other than being hit by the clients and being verbally abused by their mother daily, accused and undermined,  this company does nothing to protect its staff in fact some staff find this normal. Also some basic skills taught are not being followed for examplease wiping back to front apparently this is "how it's done" just discusting. Non supportive environment. Should be shut down !
