It is a very well organized establishment, managers are very friendly as well as the banquet captains, originally I applied for a bartending position but was placed in banquets and started doing ushering. Not bad butget used to ALOT of standing still in one place when it comes to concerts/shows. The only plus about this is you get to watch all these shows being held at the venue. FREE. You have to work your way up to being a bartender and from what I've seen the captains treat every employee with the same amount of respect. As for banquets, it's alot of waiting till you serve the next course. More standing.. if you're ushering, the only tips you can make is from doing event set up and tear downs. Bartenders don't tip them out.

Providing excellent customer service in a sometimes crazy environment.  I learned more patience in customer relations, and I got more experience in handling of cash and making of change.  I learned even if the customer is always right, you have to deal with their attitude of the situation and the environment.  The management wasn't always available or willing to help in every situation.  Most of my co-workers enjoyed their jobs and took them seriously, and some didn't..friendly though.  The hardest part of the job, was learning to deal with casino situations, and constructive criticism, and the hours that were available.  The best part of the job, was having an opportunity to work there, and meet and work with such a diverse population.

Typical day would be driving a shuttle bus picking and dropping off guest(s) and staff. Parking and retrieving vehicles. A lot of down time sitting down waiting for retrievals and standing at the front of the casino holding doors for guests. It's a very easy job and you don't have to feel like you have to try, the job is very simplistic. I enjoy the staff of course, they make the working experience enjoyable. The wage is excellent since of course the casino is regulated by the government.

Typical Day at work:

(During Events)
- We would talk about the shift plan and go to our places and what we usually do is assist the guest in finding their seats and assist them about the important things and places to know inside the centre.

(During Banquet)
- We would check if everything is perfect as to what the guest asks us to do and prepare the food and serve it as to what servers in normal banquet events do.

Good company to work for except for certain things that have happened there, i enjoyed my time,people are amazing normal day would be going in setting up my station walking around selling food& drinks to people in the bingo area, then do my inventory and cashout and go home, most enjoyable was being able to communicate with so many different people

I worked here for 8 years, too bad I need to move to other province. Co-workers were nice and company management culture and benefits were good overall. I recommend  working here. I had fun! Thank you to all.

the casino was good at times was good to work as long as you where on the right team some people didn't care about their job or other people they worked with and made it a place where you didn't wanna work at times

I enjoy working with club regent, its the people , the smiles, the excitement, the surroundings, the bands that play at the theater.
