If you are just starting out its actually a very good place to work but when the honeymoon phase is gone, you will start to see the flaws rear its ugly head. There are a few people who like to play favorites, almost everyone (well mostly employees) complains about unfair pay; you tell one person something and then almost the whole office knows about your business. You will quickly outgrow your position here and at the end of the day you are still just a number to them. Some managers will seem to care about you but its all a ploy to gain maximum productivity out of you. Work schedules can be a bit flexible but if your "cool" with some of the hire ups you have more room to make up hours. The "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" mentality can be a annoying, especially when you see your peers getting preferential treatment. If you want a raise, you have to be on your p's and q's with everything, from call counts to attendance and how much you are bringing into the company, even though they will state that your wage will increase after your probation period is up. All in all, just go in, do what you need to do and get out. Not the worst place ive worked at but there are far better options out there for you.

Management is complete garbage. The big guy is so rude and manipulative towards the employees. He constantly would try to put fear into us in order to get us to collect more money. Favouritism was a HUGE issue, if you weren't a favourite you got treated very unfairly and talked about constantly. It definitely felt like a big high school full of adults. They would have weekly meetings where the manager would basically insult you in front of your entire team just because. I WOULD NOT recommend this place. The pay was also horrible, it was actually insulting for him to pay us so low yet require us to do so much. 

It’s alright if you wanna make some money for a year or two. Very repetitive and salary is extremely unfair. Collectors can make big bucks off commission and you are stuck at whatever amount you asked for, even when moving to a new position. They gossip a lot. Everyone is really nice though. It’s hard to move up and you are stuck in the same position. I miss this place but I don’t want to go back.

If you are planning on choosing D&A Group Services as an employer, I implore you to count how many hours you are working each pay period and then divide your salary by that many hours to see if they are paying you minimum wage. They paid me less than minimum wage for my hours worked under the guise of me being a "salaried employee" and this is now an ongoing matter with the Ministry of Labour.

No money is better than this job. Unless you can live with calling near homeless people multiple times a day, and finding a LEGAL loophole to do so. They will call you on private to make sure it’s the right number. Voicemails don’t count as contact. Every manager here was out for your neck. Threats of being fired daily. I walked out. 

Just make sure you handle sitting long periods,  management was okay but really serious about reaching your target goal for the week, multi-culture, hardest part of the job was collecting you really gotta know how to get your money, the enjoyable part is the some of the staff how they celebrate each others birthdays and the free donuts and coffee once in a while.

I loved working here. My team was amazing, my manager, supervisor and teammates were all so encouraging. I actually loved going to work. It didn't even feel like work because of how happy being around positive people made me feel. The ONLY reason why I left was due to health reasons and needing a remote job to accommodate my health situation.

No Overtime, Minimum Pay, Working Extra Hours without Pay, Very Hard to Survive, Unco-operative Management, Too Much Stress, Not a Fun/Enjoyable place to Work.

I worked here for quiet a while. They are very understanding it you have obligations or prior engagements. Vibe is okay, but work and quota is hard. They favour one person over another sometimes. Which really hurts when you’ve tried to go above and beyond.

The company culture was great. The supervisors were always willing to help and offered few criticisms.  Workdays involved tasks that were very monotonous.
