I started here after I got my license and it has been a good learning experience for me and I have learned a lot.

Management was good, but cheap when it came to some equipement repairs (trailers). The fleet have been new trucks from 2017 - 2021 when I left (Thats good). They did take care of drivers and time off whenever you want with notice was never an issue.

The president has retired and IKO have now pushed out everyone who had shares in the company making it a completely corporate company who is very cheap when it comes to their staff and equipment. So up until January 2022, everything was good. Dispatch was pretty good and you'll always have them trying to push you sometimes but they are pretty fair most of the time, and they give you time off.

I worked from 2015-2021 and I ran local, operated a boom truck, OTR, flatbed U.S, B-trains, vans. Overall for me for my first Truck Driving job it has been very good and I have been accommodated very well and appreciate the management there during my time.

I was excited to join this company for a driving opportunity and left another position to do so.

After starting, I was placed in a different role on night shifts, with the understanding that it could lead to a driving position in the future. However, the timeline and path toward that role were not clearly defined, which made it difficult to plan long term.

While I gained some experience during my time here, I would recommend that anyone considering a similar position make sure they have a clear understanding of the role and expectations before starting.

The management is respectful, and helpful. Time off has never been denied to me, I run a dedicated truck, and the really the care of the driver. I would recommend this company to anyone that is ok with automatic trucks.

Very bad management,safety strong on paper but poor in reality and equipment. When you report problems nothing gets done most of time. Big lack of truck and trailers maintenance. Manager had no idea how to oprerate a trucking business even if he had been their for 20+years. They hire many many drivers and then get laid off 2 weeks after lack of work and organisation!

Friendly management. It was helpful to start when you were new in the industry. Not a great but okay. Hard work not really easy. 
I have spent my full 4 years in this company.  It was helpful in a sense it was every home job.

A typical day at work would be expect the un-expected but hopefully that isn't an every day occurence...I get along with co-workers great,I have a humourous side,I think thats important,I'm attentive and a quick learner,It's a bit of freedom being on the road,but I don't want long haul!

Good job at first but now very very bad management sitting in Brampton office and very bad shop manager in brampton very rude and do not accept suggestion ,ask some driver before you move to dw,   Trying to cut weekends pay benifits,

Doesn’t pay you what you earned and no one is willing to help fix your pay cheques. Management will not call you back when you try to fix these issues and dispatch waits until the last minute to tell you if you are working. Horrible experience 

Equipment is old, they beat their trucks but have a good shop to fix trucks. I worked there for 4 month than got let go because of an accident that wasnt my fault or the other drivers. Neither of us should have been on the highway that day.

If you’re an English person this company is not for you. Poorly managed and a typical factory work setting - work fast get the work done and the get laid off Poor management but decent pay and benefits
