What is the best part of working at the company?
Supervisors have huge egos and think they are better than you. Also certain assistant head custodians have the same problem. If you treat me horrible then that is what's returned. Also, not knowing where you will be placed everyday is not a good system especially if you like routine. The pay is good but it will take more than a year to get permanent.

Dealing with supervisors/ different head custodians. Very arrogant! and not knowing where you will be working daily

Some schools are better than others but there is so much gossip. Best to mind your business

General cleaning of classrooms, washrooms, garbage and halls

It’s fun and learning for me to spend time with kids in a disciplined environment .

To handle the special needs so they can feel comfortable .

I've had the pleasure of working at Tech Innovations Inc. for the past year, and it's been an incredibly rewarding experience. One of the standout qualities of this company is its commitment to innovation. From day one, I've been encouraged to think outside the box and contribute new ideas to projects. The culture here fosters creativity and collaboration, which has led to some truly groundbreaking solutions.

DDSB is a good place to work with good benefits and union positions. Good hours typically from 8 to 4 pm. Two 15 minute breaks with one hour lunch. Management keeps on changing but the same corruption is repeating. A lot of politics,  clicks and gossip. 

Normal expectations for custodial position.
The best person for the job doesn't necessarily get promoted.
Workplace culture depends on location.
Hardest part of being a custodian is self explanatory.
Most enjoyable part of the job are your co-workers.

I am grateful for my employment at DDSB and feel that I am paid well for my position. 
There is a lack of resources for thr needs that exist. Some schools have more resources than other schools. 

Considering that many jobs out there are part-time and precarious this is a great employer to work for.  A permanent employee with the DDSB receives a decent wage and has the security of benefits and a pension.

Good place to start but if you are looking to make this a career it is not worth it. No regular raises and no incentives to work harder.

You make the same amount of money and compensation as everyone weather you work hard or not.

There should be a difference for the pay of Supply ECE and LTA position. LTA (Long Term Assignment) does the whole stuff as a permanent ECE in the room. Yet, there’s no difference between the supply and LTA pay. 

The best place to work, The environment is friendly, and the people are welcoming. working with the school had made to expose do a lot of things, and I have gained lot of experience.
