I love working for this company because they give me the freedom to be creative in how I get my work done. The executive management team is also very down to earth, making it a refreshing workplace. Even though the culture has changed since we've become primarily remote, it's still a great place to work with fun people. It's not an easy job, as we're building software for the automotive industry with a lot of competition. Still, it's rewarding to see our customers' positive reactions to the solutions we've provided.

Growing company but the lack of delivering on the promises they make and the fact that they tolerate average employees and even promote them over other better qualified employees is unfortunate.

The is vision from the top, but a lack of qualified and educated managers to carry out the vision presented.

I am confident Dealer Fx will eventually work this out.

All in all a scrappy Canadian company trying to make a positive difference in a challenging industry

As the company grew, it became top heavy. Managers are micromanaged. General culture is to chase the next sales instead of supporting existing clients. Attempts to enhance the product quickly lead to constant hot fixes to address all the bugs and resulted in an unstable product. Several rounds of layoffs happened from 2019 to 2020 to reduce expenses to encourage the sales of the company which finally happened in 2021. Lots of great staff left subsequently due to the instability of the company. 

company was great before they changed management and now they stopped doing yearly employee events. there is little to no room for growth at this company especially in the service desk side. fired a GREAT manager and replaced with a unsupportive manager who does not work on career growth at all. do not recommend if you are looking for a lasting role at a company. also lower salary than majority of competition 

Employed by DFX for 5 years. Employees are amazing and hardworking but management is lacking and upper management was bad. Promoted by management but they never push through the formality of the new roles and titles with HR so you’re never compensated properly. Laid off over 100 employees and then rehired and promoted for the roles to cut cost at their employees expense even while they were already underpaid and overworked. Has happened multiple times.

I loved what I was doing at dealer-fx but they were micromanaging me so much I left after 4 months. Management wanted me to include them in EVERY email I was sending out. They were on my case for every little thing. Couldn’t go for a bathroom break without a question asked. Most people in my department were working from home and I was alone in the office all the time, they wound not let me work from home.

I left the company mainly because of its relocation that is too far from where I live. Otherwise I would stay with the job because my manager gave me great trust to implement my ideas to improve our work which made me feel very accomplished.

Colleagues are quite proactive and helpful.

1. Develope the new test case including the functional test / load test 
2. Maintian and update the exisiting test cases 
3. Attend release meeting 
4. Learned Amazon, Docker  in load test 
5. The hardest job is developing the load test caes scenario, it  pretty depends on the production developing process.

DFX is a great company to work for. The people are smart and driven, yet the environment is very collaborative

Management is very accessible and knowledgeable about the industry/space. They have a clear idea of where they want to take the company. 

There are tons of opportunity for growth (personal and career) if you're willing to put in the work.

A lot is expected of you depending on your position but in a good way. Always busy with new projects and changes to be applied. The projects scoping could be handled better. Overall the projects are specific to areas of the stack that has the largest issues to remediate. Fun inclusive teams that participate in all areas of the design process.
