The job consists of cold-calling people randomly to ask them to do an often free survey over the phone. The surveys are long and tedious, and the people get nothing out of it. It is all about the number of surveys you can get done a day and are often pushed by management to get more and more. The pay is very low and turnover is high.

A typical day at work was really relaxed. You get there and just sign in to work and get right on a computer  to start making calls. I learned that people don't like to be called. The management weren;t very clear when letting people go from their jobs. Hardest part of the job was sitting for hours on end in a chair. The job was enjoyable due to hour flexibility.

Everyone is friendly, especially the supervisors.. Typical work day would require you to obtain the required amount of surveys for each project. This job helps you get better at communicating. Hardest part of the job is that sometimes you might feel discouraged if a person on the other line is rude to you.

The hours are good , when u get them. They are not consistent . They rarely have work for the past few months. 
The work location is close to subway. Their incentives are really good. 
The pay is decent.

My ob was mainly solicit for people to do surveys on a number of issues. Most callers were upset when we called them on Sundays, Public holidays, and late at night. No job security.

I worked at Decision Point Research as a research assistant. My job included interviewing survey respondents and compiling data for review. It was a decent workplace with great people, no real complaints.

No In house IT. If you have tech issues you're on your own to fix it resulting in lost hours or days. Poor hours. Work for a week or two then nothing for a month. 

The staff is very helpful.  The work culture is just ordinary.  The people are willing to give you a chance.  Not of a place for support.  Not really a place where you can grow.  Sometimes work is not available.

Standard call center environment... Can be fun, can be boring(like most jobs actually...) Made hundreds of calls each day working competitively with a co-worker. Had great success!

The job satisfaction is quite okay and boring. The management is not so modern as there is no portal for shifts or anything. Also, the computers are modern but not so friendly system.
