Really good job for young people. I've definitely been able to get a head start on things people my age can't bc of the pay. The commission is good as long as you can make the sales and tips are pretty good (in cash and on your cheque). It's outdoors so hope you like the sun. Management definitely pushes you to be better, you need to be able to take criticism but they are helping you learn the job better so you can make more money. The computer system is annoying though, it can be pretty slow when the company gets busy. You do get socials where your boss will take the staff to dinner or an activity. If you're really good at the job there's chances for prizes and trips. You have to be able to handle the heat, you've gotta be personable, you need to be able to deal with a lot of down time when it's slow and you gotta work quickly when you're busy. You're gonna love you're coworkers.

This company is awesome. Working a site on your own. I love the feel of it.  I have freedom to hone my skills. While windshield repair is a huge part of the skills, the main skill you will be working here is your people skills and your ability to overcome objections from customers in a friendly manner. Our service is fantastic. Great staff, and theres something about finally getting to go on your own and manage your own site solo. Definitely anyone who sets their mind to it will excell. I would not say the job is for the faint of heart, with that said its also not too pressuring.  You will adapt to situations as they are thrown at you. Which is an easily translatable skill to any job you may work at in the future. Thats the main thing you will see here at DECO along with top of the line windshield repair.

What is the best part of working at the company?
This is hands down the best job I have ever had and the best company I have ever worked for! Not only is the work fun and rewarding, but the company actually cares about you! 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Stress? Not here! I can't remember a single time I was stressed at work here. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You get to work outside all day and meet all kinds of new people. The culture is more that of friends and family than or bosses and coworkers. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Outside all day in the sunshine, listening to music, meeting lots of new people. Extremely satisfying to fix a rock chip/crack and see them disappear!

Deco is hands down one of the worst places to work. The management is an absolute nightmare—completely unorganized, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. They don’t care about their employees at all, treating them like disposable tools rather than actual human beings.  

The job itself is grueling, and instead of making it better, the management somehow finds ways to make it even worse. There's zero support, constant micromanagement, and a toxic work environment that drains every ounce of motivation you have. They expect you to go above and beyond for them while giving nothing in return—not even basic respect.  

If you’re thinking of working here, don’t. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and sheer misery. Deco is not worth it.

As the title says, it’s great pay (wage + commission) and the Deco team is great. My coworkers were all fun people to work alongside.
I will say though, depending what region you’re working for, management is iffy. With my experience: 
Sick days are not respected, harassed until you come in to work.
In the fall season, empathy for cold weather conditions were lacking. Ex. Scarves were not allowed, must follow dress code. Ex2. Permitted only 5min breaks. 
Last minute notifications of late start-times.
Top salesmen are shown little appreciation.
Days-off request ignored for almost 2 weeks, only to be denied.

I’m sure there are good managers, just not with my experience.

Great job to improve peoples, sales, and independent work skills. Sometimes questionable work conditions in wind or rain (its an outdoor job). Most enjoyable part is meeting new people and making new connections. Hardest part is getting a day with no sales, depending on the managers sometimes your sales ability are put to blame as a result. Training could have been more comprehensive. Make sure to read over your contract carefully.  Not too hard to get days off as long as you notify in advance. 

your car is always full of work equipment (tent, weights, toolboxes). you work outdoors and do not get to go home unless there in lightning, i have had to work through hurricane-like conditions because there was no thunderstorm. your weekly schedule is regularly released on sunday night, meaning you dont find out your monday shift until the night before. this is because the managers all work maybe 8 total hours per week. they do have company events but if you do not enjoy hanging out with high school kids they may not be for you. also the pay is $17.00 per hour

The pay is not bad and the culture is friendly but it can be hard to be accommodated fully. Some customers tend to be a bit eccentric or downright look at you in disgust. Also be prepared to spend a lot of time on your own account to store the tent, weights tools in a safe location, put it into your securely, move it to your site, unpacking then setting up before the shift even starts, but all of the opposite after your shift ends so a good 1-2 hours unpaid.

Working at deco windshield was one of the most horrifying experience in my life. The regional manager is condescending towards the employees and have no respect for our well being culture or even religion. Not a great place for anyone to work in. They will lie to you about a higher wage but it is not true. They will pass deragatory remarks and has no respect for the employees. The managers will lie to you in every aspect starting from the interview to the job. 

My coworkers were were very nice and driven - can’t say the same about management. Management wasn’t not very accommodating or helpful, they just kinda dumped their work onto anyone beneath them. I also wasn’t accurately paid. i have missed as many as 12 hours of work on my pay. 

I’ve worked for this company twice. the first time was fine, but the second time was a nightmare. so i can’t say this review accurately describes the company as a whole.
