I liked the people that I worked with however the process or lack of process for providing service to the customers is evident to the employees and to the customers most times.  They sell a great new product but when it comes to used equipment it is a lottery.  The management team doesn't spend any money on making sure that used product is in good condition and when it comes back the finger pointing starts.  

The service manager is constantly under fire to get things done quicker and cheaper and is left between a rock and a hard place trying to give the best service to the customer and trying to meet unrealistic budget constraints.

Started out as a licensed tech, as time went buy filled a positive position in the workplace. Growing company in a booming area and gettig more and more known as a supplier of fun vehicles. With ‘COVID’, staff is smaller so we are busier, but brings fellow employees together as a working group where I feel part of it and a team! As we come out of the pandemic I see us as an exclusive dealership supporting a growing population in a beautiful part of Ontario!

Poor management. Service manager is constantly lying to staff and customers. Talks negatively about staff to others in the workplace. Upper management is split between 4 locations, so they tend to be out of the loop. Lack of communication between departments, management and staff.  No money spent on infrastructure, 20+ lights out in the shop. Breakers constantly tripping. No proper safety training. Where does it end????

I had the pleasure to learn and grow at Dewildt Marine. A driven and motivated individual can find a firm place for the future here. Things get hectic, last minute deadline will happen. But all and all it is worth it to see a satisfided customer leave the lot. Personal curcumstance made it so i had to leave. Willingness to learn and be well-rounded are assets here!

If your inclined to do good quality work and take pride in your work, this isn't the place for you. Management is quicker to blame issues on the tech or worker than accept their own short comings. Your loyalty also is worth nothing. Need something for your job or for the shop? Better get ready to wait a while and let's not get started on the lack of following the law.

Been at the Peterborough location 3 years almost now and i really do enjoy coming to work. First job i have had working for someone else when i can actually say that. The Dewildt family is great to work for. We have a great team here in Peterborough. 

Great people, great environment with positive attitude. Highly recommend work place. This industry you get what you put into it. A positive attitude goes a long way in both service and sales. The staff knows the product very well and will go above and beyond for staff and customers.

I've been in powersports sales for over 30 years now. 
Out of the three places that I've worked at, this dealership is one of the best places. Everyone is very helpful and we work together as a team.
Yes we are always a little too busy, but that's not always a bad thing!


Great place to work.  Fun team environment.   Great products and great training.   You can really go to work and have fun!   If you love Powersports and helping people this is the place.
