DFC DIESEL

Been working at DFC Diesel for 3 years and overall my experience has been great. This job isn't rocket science but be prepared to learn about your role and what you need to do for your position. 

Previous employees who have been laid off, many of which I was very close with were either very lazy or didn't care about working at the job THEY applied for. Each Department has its subsets and all employees have to do is learn their tasks so not much training is needed. As long as you're getting work done efficiently you will be happy working there.

There is the possibility for advancements but you have to be willing to show you're valuable to the company and are willing to learn new things. That's how every job works.

A day involves machining and inspecting crankshafts with a focus on efficiency. Management is supportive, non-bossy, and encourages interaction. The workplace culture is interactive, with cool, cooperative colleagues. Efficiency is monitored, and incentives boost motivation. The hardest part is maintaining precision under deadlines, but the no stress environment helps. The most enjoyable part is the friendly, team-oriented atmosphere.

DFC has been great place to work for the last 5 years. There have definitely been some challenges but overall the company gives back what you put in. I was able to advance through the various steps in my department and have moved on to a much more in-depth position that puts everything I’ve learned to the test.

The owner has been an excellent resource of knowledge and experience and management has treated me more than fairly. Again, you get back what you put in. I have made lifelong friends and I honestly love my job.

Management is more interested in micromanaging than actually supporting their team. No real opportunities for advancement unless you’re part of the "inner circle." Raises and recognition are rare. The work environment can be toxic, with poor communication and favoritism being the norm

As a former engine assembler, I have enjoyed working with friendly co-workers and ops. This job has given me a great opportunity to learn, thrive and understand how diesel engine components work. I am really glad that I work for this company. 

I enjoyed my stay at DFC! Fast paced got along with everyone never had a problem with management or the owner nothing was hard about the job I did there was great was able to work overtime 

Great place to work, steady hours and all the OT you're willing to work. Management treats employees good and has room for advancement for the ambitious people

Great place to work and learn about diesel  engine, lots to learn about machining processes, great team to work with.
