DICAM Landscaping

A typical day at work would involve me going out with my crew and clearing the sites that we were assigned, being mindful of the specifications of some sites on how they wanted it cleared. I learned how to be a team player, how to work both quickly and efficiently, and how to manage my time well. Management there is excellent, always encouraging teamwork and good morals while on the job, and they care about their employees and their well-being. The hardest part of the job was the sporadic hours that I had to go out; It could be early morning, evening, or late night, so sometimes I'd be really tired when I went out. The most enjoyable part of my job though was the time I spent with my co-workers and the relationships I established with them. I also enjoyed the satisfaction of a job well done when we finished our sites.

DICAM goes above and beyond in making sure the staff are well taken care of with good communication, a fun and positive working environment, teams that enjoy working together, and emphasizing the importance of good training and proper health and safety measures. Much of the staff have been here for multiple seasons and have had the opportunity to grow in their careers. Management listens to staff, cares about their wellbeing, and tries to make improvements from feedback they receive. Lots of interesting projects are going on, equipment is kept in good shape and up-to-date, and the company does a good job of being proactive as they grow. Overall an excellent place to work that has really gotten the culture right!

I love the company and they treat me with the upmost respect but I ended up leaving for a better paying job and highly regretted it. If I didn’t leave, I would most likely still be there today. I absolutely loved working for this company one of the best landscape companies I have ever worked for and if I ever had that opportunity to come back and work for them, bet my but that I would I try and contact and send an interviews and they ignore my resignation. I’ve been trying to get back into this company for a few years now as it is one of the best companies I have ever worked for the employees and staff are incredible. If I had the opportunity to go back, I would take the job in a heartbeat.!

Days/nights consisted of snow blowing, shoveling, salting and ice removal of sidewalks and driveways. learning how to proper use of snow blower and ice remover. management were very respectful, easy to get along with and always offering to go out for work. Learning to work as a team to finish sites on time and cooperation skills. hardest part of the job was the weather. the most enjoyable part of the job was being able to get along with everyone and enjoy the hours at work.

Dicam is a great company to work for.  They are organized in job planning so that we knew what had to be done and they want their employees to be successful and move into new roles.  Management is always cheerful and the crews get along really well.  They do not tolerate employees with a bad work ethic and attitude, because it makes the team unhappy, which I am thankful for.  

I was recently hired by Dicam Landscaping.  Phenomenal place to work and to build a career. Culture is second to none with all employees working together as a true team.  If you're currently looking at joining the Dicam team, do not pass this on the opportunity!

Good work environment, offers benefits.

They keep track of each persons speed at the site and if you are not fast enough for their liking they will get rid of you. They thought I was slow even though I did more and worked faster than some other people that worked there.

I've been working at dicam landscaping for a few months and I love it!  Management is the best!  We have bbq's and company events.  Never been supported more in a company.  Love my co workers as well.  Highly recommend dicam to those who are looking for a change.

They are a friendly group of people and management is always there to help out.  Everyone gets along well and I like the work.  I especially like doing different jobs in the winter and summer.  I was trained well and they focus a lot on safety.  

Worked here for almost 5 years and I loved it. The culture at this company is really good. Management really cares about all their employees. The work is enjoyable and your hard work and good work ethic will get recognized and will be rewarded for it.
