My typical day was answering emails and voice messages plus invoicing, purchase orders, bills of lading, scheduling Purolator and Transport Companies to pick up returns to Dimplex.  Making of Labels for Sears Canada.  Learning of Cross Border Paperwork.

The Acting Office Manager, she was a great trainer with patience and it was easy to learn the job requirements from her guidance.

The Staff were friendly and easy to talk to.

Each department has a very unique culture, and doesn't always connect as well as they could. Independently each is very good, but insular. The company thinks globally, yet conservatively, which can make for a secure work environment, however the conservatism can lean toward overworking employees.

If you're trying to get ahead and improve yourself,there are ways your environment can drag you down.  
the leadership is not good.

I worked there for 9 years I worked my way up the ladder then got mentally ill they fired me so dimplex north America is no good for personal issues. Nobody worked together to much  bullying company union does nothing they pick choose who they help.

Wonderful and supportive co-workers, very close knit and socialize outside of the workplace. Management can be very encouraging in assisting to move up.

I loved working at Dimplex North America. The work was repetitive and tedious. I enjoy working at a fast pace and this company did that for me. It was a summer season job that I excelled in before returning back to school the following fall.

Getting better but has long way to go. Dimplex is having hard time managing brand and products and brands positioning. Sales people are spending too much time on forecasting. I would rate their products quality as 4/5.

It's been 17 years since I worked at Dimplex so I don't feel I can give a proper review.  They have grown and changes in management so hopefully it is a good place to work

Great people, great hours....high stress, fast paced during busy season. Can be flexible and basically supportive and offer guidance when needed....not much room for growth however.

Had lots of time to learn the assembly process with no experience in the past, was a good job for a 20 year old with little bills,
layoffs all the time and didn't bother going back as I got a better job
