I would NOT Recommend working for this company.
There is high turn over for student accountants who may or may not gain full time employment depending if the company doses well years end. 

Coming from experience and having to train new staff. I constantly saw people leaving the company because of work over load.

The IT team is a small group of about 3 individuals whom you will rarely see at the company.  The manager of IT doesn’t even work at the office he works from home.
There is only one guy at the Vancouver office running around who seemes doing all the work but he eventually got fired too.

Unlike other companies very experienced, which has a negative side to it as well

During tax season free food other Friday.
You can’t take vacation from January - June 
(They won’t tell you this during interviews) Or even after If you get hired 

Advice to Management
Need to weight out the benefit vs cost of earlier promotions and retaining those who work hard but you may not know this unless you ask other than their direct manager. Lots of good people left due to this.

Your IT is slow because of poor management and leadership team. Communication in this department and training is lacking severely. 
You also need to hire more people IT to handle the growth. 

Staff over drink at events and every Friday they over spend money in liquor. What are they promoting? Use that  money for increasing the medical/health benefits instead.

Depending on the team you're on, management can be completely disorganized. Junior staff barely get any work. Your whole career at the firm passes you by without you adding any value to yourself. Why hire too many people if there isn't enough work? 

We were made to come into the office during the COVID-19 pandemic long after other firms had instructed their personnel to work from home. Finally, a day after being told that it was "optional" for us to come into the office, we were informed by HR that a staff member had been diagnosed with COVID-19. This individual had been on the majority of the floors in the Vancouver office during the week everyone was still working in the office.

A firm the size of DMCL advertises itself as one of balance and compassion, but they do not care about their employees. All they care about is their profit. They're no different than a large corporation, they just lack the brand name. If you have any other opportunities, please do yourself a favour and work somewhere else. They do not deserve you here.

Literally the worst company I have ever worked for in my life.
I joined a team of three partners where 1 partner ran everything. She was a terrible human being and reeked of favouritism to the extent that she let her seniors decided which juniors would be on the job and which ones were not "worthy of working" there. DMCL has a toxic work culture, and if you're not in the good books of one partner or even a senior, you're done. You can say good bye to your job.
Only work at this company as a last resort to getting your CPA.
terrible fake people, weak upper management and IT is abysmal. The IT director has no clue what he's doing, might as well hand the job to a CS undergrad intern.

This is one of the worst places I have worked. The work was easy and I didn’t find the workload stressful. Management does not care for their employees. They make it a serious issue if you need to take a day off or take time for medical appts. I was personally told that my personal life, health, etc. should not come at the cost of them running their business. The work place culture here is emotionally draining. They promote a family culture but this place is the farthest thing from it. Only  work here if you want to grind out hours for people who could care less about you.

Review on PEG Group: Very cliquey group, hard to be welcomed into. The work process is somehow backwards compared to other firms. I don't recommend it if you're a seasoned administrator.  
They do not provide timely constructive feedback to employees. Sad!

This is a fast paced growing company that d
has not built appropriate supports to appreciate staff. They expect you to give your whole life to the job (be at the office 7 days a week for min 12 hours per day) even though they state they have flexible work arrangements.

Surrey office - Senior Partner disrespectful to all staff with intimidation and fear, swearing at staff, preferential treatment to hired friends and family. Overall unprofessional due to one partner.
