Working at DP World has been an outstanding learning experience — the management is professional and supportive. The workplace culture emphasizes safety above everything else. The hardest part is working in challenging conditions while maintaining strict HSE compliance. The most enjoyable part is being part of a world-class maritime operation and contributing to major vessel maintenance projects.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
nobody like each other, no changes in management, no roles and responsibilities, no accountabilities, nobody care the company, do what you like to do if nobody catch you

The work environment is very stressful and toxic. They differentiate between permanent and contract employees. So many people quit because of the poor management. In the past three months I have seen more than 30 people leaving. I thought the company is a great place to work but I was wrong. They treat you well when you have your training tenure, after that, they do not bother to listen to you. I don’t think I can work here for long time. Not a good company to work. 

I did everything from GPS shipping container tracking, card access, camera systems, to server and pc administration and helpdesk.
Learned a lot about servers and OS's. Great co-workers.
Management sometimes forgot to tell IT about projects till last minute which made us scramble a bit to deliver, though its being worked on.

Initially the work environment was good. But there is a lot of dirty politics. They do not value their employees. Except for the pay nothing is good. Bunch of old ladies making the work environment miserable for the staff. HR is of no use. You can’t talk to your manager, director or HR because no one listens. And if you stand for your team they kick you out. Worst company….

Only the pay is good. Lot of favoritism.

You get promoted by favoritism

The Unions and upper management create a very toxic work environment.  The Management at Centerm are not supportive, offer little to no training and are openly hostile to their staff

The only thing good at DP world is the pay. They do not care about their employees wellbeing. If you go to HR with issues you have they make you feel so bad. The worst company I ever worked at. I had to quit within the first two months. 

Unions create a highly toxic and antagonistic environment. However, it is challenging and rewarding with good pay. People do advance with hard work and results.

A terrible work environment that forces you to question your existence at times. However, the pay is great.
