It was a fast paced environment which I quite liked about the position.  A bonus amount was given over and above the wage amount when the quotas were met which was a good incentive to work hard and be sure to get it right the first time.
There were good benefits and match to the percentage the employee put into their rrsp funds. 
The design and quality of the product made you proud to be a part of the production.

The work culture there is great wages there are definitely an ongoing challenge, work culture is a great place to learn new skills for trade ,management is what seems to dim the whole experience, jealously, pettiness are management's downfall.  This is caused by lacking off advancement and fairness in big downfall for this company 

There are a lot of good people that work here but even in this day and age there is a lot of the "old boy" culture still prevalent here. There are a number of very talented people who maintain the status quo. There is some concern as the older people retire in finding young ambitious people willing to listen and learn.

Durham furniture is a great place to work. Straight days off by q2 on Fridays. People there are really great my supervisor is really good she cares for us workers.  Our boss is  really great ceo 

Terrible management no regards for your safety or personal life. Change hours of work and you have no choice but to work it .overtime only paid after 48 hours per week

poorly run company.  Terrible leadership.  You learn not to trust anyone.  The place is full of back stabbers. The hardest part of the job is showing up in the morning. The most enjoyable part of the job is going home.

Most of the guys are fun to work with. Work hard and you’ll make it up the ladder. Some people are insufferable to work with but most are great, and generally you can make it to a level 2 job within a month

People are relaxed and helpful, hours are fair and allow for a good work /life balance. Lots of machinery, not many places offer access and training on older generation equipment as well as modern CNC machines. 

Not a very good place to work..abusive management.human resources don't help whatsoever. People have worked there many years and still making very low wages..

It's a happy place to work for if you work hard like i have Durham Furniture treat you fair and will give job promotions good attitude and  positive work ethic goes a long way with this company
