Must always be cognizant of who you represent. Public image is important. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
 Where you work, what your job title is defines what the environment is.  Clerical jobs are in temperature control offices or work area.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy. Constantly changing, dealing with people all day. Giving information to general public, maintaining composure in stressful situations

Typically, the day would start with leadership activities as a group and presentations from the policing community to advance our knowledge about the policing field of work. I learned the requirements to confidently establish myself as a leader and what it takes to be a good team member. There was good management mostly by students themselves and some police officers. The workplace culture was diverse. The hardest part of this job was being confident in public speaking. The most enjoyable part is meeting new people and doing activities with the community.

Salary, benefits., and pension 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
What you do and see. If you love to see dead bodies including babies, this job is for you. If not stop now. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Depends what you get into or what area of expertise you align with. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depends on what you do at the company. I you should be answering calls all day on the road for ten years before you ask any

I loved the atmosphere, I got familiar with Police service

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress to report. I loved working for Police

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Various ethnic people to work with, I trained other students, in firearms

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It is always a good day with Police service

Typically we listen to presenters  and learn how to become a police officer, K9 handler, detective, etc., but most importantly we learn how to give to the community and simultaneously gain lifetime skills and opportunities that will change your life. It is indeed one of the best experience for me working at the Durham Regional Police Service.

The job was worth doing, a lot of great experiences and we did many activities. The people and the supervisors were very open to suggestions and were understanding. Overall the job was impressive

Failing leadership. Policies are driven by what is best for the leader versus best for the people we service and those serving
Management FAILS to practice what they preach.
Nepotism is stronger than ever.  One MUST be apart of the "in crowd/chosen few" to progress

Durham Regional Poilce Service provides their employees with great training, supports their growth and has a great teamwork atmosphere. The company has great leaders and strives to provide transparency in their goals.

Very exciting workplace. I look forward to going to work every day. The people I work with are wonderful. Constantly learning new and exciting things.
