Newly formed company with a lot of growing pains.  Company is more focused on ROI than on delivery excellence, customer experience or employee satisfaction.  With the focus on ROI, layoffs are a monthly, if not weekly occurrence.  With constant job loss, remaining staff have to take on ever increasing work loads with no salary increase, promotion or advancement.  
Culture is to take on more work, regardless of impact to personal life and work hours.
From personal perspective, there was not a lot of focus or effort on wage equity or advancement of women into senior positions.  
Several years of wages being frozen in order to help increase shareholder returns.  Any bonuses were very limited and that were available were of a very low monetary value.  Regardless of the spin the company would like to put on it, there were forced rankings for employee reviews.  Only so many employees in each department could be ranked with a specific performance level.
DXC Technology is putting effort into more automation and to be an industry leader in Agile and Digital advancement.  But, at what cost?

Level 1and 2 technical support providing assistance by answering phones and emails.
Manage the processing of incoming calls to the Help Desk via both telephone and e-mail to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end user issues Ensure that the Help Desk phones are answered in a courteous and friendly manner;

Since the past 2 years working as TL (Support Coordinator)

I oversee entire Help Desk staff and ensure that end users are receiving the appropriate assistance. This includes the responsibility of managing all procedures related to the identification, prioritization, and resolution of end user help requests, including the monitoring, tracking, and coordination of Help Desk functions, also I contribute to problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users, and other tasks associate with the accounts.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good people. Working with a team dedicated to client success. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As an outsourcing partner, client has high expectations but the DXC org makes it difficult to build any new capability. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Close relationship with the client, but little or no ‘value’ in the DXC brand. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Many online meetings throughout the week. Technology implementations are coordinated at night. 
Typically a 50hr plus or minus workweek.

What is the best part of working at the company?
the ability to work from home or anywhere in canada.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part was the constant workload where managers never gave new training for newly integrated systems


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
it was work from home but the managers would micro manage and want an explanation for everything including going to the bathroom 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
take alot of calls and have to figure alot of things out on your own as proper training does not get provided by the company

- underpaid staff
- constant pressure and 0 sympathy from management.
- employees are exhausted from the enormous amount of work.
- starting early and finishing late (NOT paid overtime). Sometimes pressured into working overtime  / not given choice.
- haven't used their benefits as much, instead of receiving benefits for things such as eye health as we work on computers all day, we received more benefits for psychologist and chiropractor, which I find funny.
- I do not recommend this company at all, look for work else where  


As with all companies I've work with, the employees and most clients are fantastic. Supportive and most like to share there info (there's always a couple of those guys). DXC fails in direction and implementation. HR and client expectations don't fall in line (fire employees and the site managers are not even aware, care only about bottom line failing to respect contractual obligations).
Yearly threats of losing your job. Very few experienced It personnel left. 

Although DXC allows you to work from home, this is done as you are expected to work many evenings and weekends.
Due to recent history of company (HP Canada split, I worked with HPE which then merged with CSC to form DXC Technology).  Thus, there were almost no raises or bonuses even when given a stellar job performance review.  
Technical resources are a great group of very hard working people.  However, their efforts don't receive the appreciation they deserve.
Variety of work available - provides a great opportunity to learn.

I have worked for the Bulgarian office of the company for many years. The company gives many opportunities to learn technology on different projects for large international companies. The management was good. Time was flexible at least at my team. Work-life balance was very good. Hybrid work model was adopted and continued even post-Covid.

Pros:
- Work-life balance
- Many opportunities to learn from experienced management and developers
Cons:
- Salary increases were rare
- No performance bonuses for years

- Team was great, always wonderful to work with.
- Management made job easier, and understood tasks and priorities at hand.
- Learned a lot about team work, personal development, and what it takes to succeed in a large IT corporation.
- Culture is questionable, as we are still going through a a transition process from earlier separation/spin-off.
- Hardest part of the job was working with aging technologies and moving at government pace.
- Enjoyable part was coming into the office, and working with the people everyday.

gathered most i know from this company. slow paced but very hectic when trouble comes in. life-work balance is great. people around me are superb! unfortunately, had no increase for the last 5 years been there. was about to be promoted but no follow up from the manager. training is self-paced and depends on your trainer.
great place to work in though. laid back approach and little to no stress at all.
