I was seduced by the wage.  The warning signs of high turnover were there- and they even freely admit it. lots of overtime. Handling of hot parts and lots of smoke from oil burning off of welded components. All of the machines I had the privilege to operate were in desperate need of maintenance. Team lead was rude and unhelpful. Middle manager was distant but friendly and approachable. HR was genuinely interested in improving employee retention, but seemed unable. I see they have now offered benefits immediately and added 47 cents to the starting rate. Personally, I would avoid this place. Lots of weird rules and strange break structure. most of your break is wasted trying to travel to-from cafeteria. If you have limitless drive, and the ability to swallow negativity and just keep on, and solve your own problems on your equipment- then this might be the place for you.

Good place to learn different systems and applications. Management is very poor, do not appreciate education and outsiders. Like the old boys club. New model group is poorly ran, so anything new they set up isn’t set up correctly. Have little to no knowledge on many things.  Quality of parts is always bad, because the sister company is who makes the stampings. 

It's a stable job that can always use the extra manpower. Quick and virtually no barriers to employment. Competitive wages for the market and occupation, although benefits leave a lot to be desired. Not a good job to stay at long term, due to nature of the work IMO. The lifers were some of the most miserable people I have ever met and that doesn't create a welcoming atmosphere for new hires. But for a temporary job its decent. On a side note, shout out to the Singh family for keeping this place afloat.

Very clean, fast fast paced environment, every man for himself mentality.

Stressful and demanding, difficult and at times frustrating and depressing.

The rank and file very ordinary unappreciated hard toiling hourly worker

The constant neverending everyweekend mandatory over time.

Its lousy, unorganized,  draconian,  unforgiving, completely unsatisfactory, unsatisfying, poorly paid, and hot, dirty and poorly lit. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Boring ,sweating and dirty. Noisy and frustrating.

This factory is very focused on production-quality balance. To achieve that, a heavy focus is place upon the individual employees output and attitude. So whoever goes into this place should go with the understanding that they are expected to do their best and accept responsibility for what comes of their labors.

Uniforms, not having to buy work clothes. The people are great. Competitive pay and benefits and pension

When automotive slows down it is stressful

Teamwork and good work life balance

unorganized the right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing when it came to management. as for learning something new no because if you were good in one area thats were they left you. hardest part of the job was dealing with managment confusion. most enjoyable part of the job break time and quitting time

prepared to be working without proper breaks. Mandatory overtime. No one wears a respirator unless you ask only to be called by the manager. *Galvanized steel* Not a place for trades persons. Only robotic welding. Keeping track of hourly quotas. And yes they do come to your cell and check count hourly!

Not a good place to work, management are terrible to deal with. They treat there employees terrible, you have no time to spend with your family working six days a week for the last 6 years. They abused the temp agency for the longest time. Pays not bad but to get to full rate takes at least 5 years
