Dagmar Ski Resort

Would be a great place to work if management wasn't as unorganized and unprofessional as it is. 

The hardest part about the job is not being able to advance and learn more in order to be a greater help, do to management not allowing you to do more and not teaching/ encouraging/ letting your practice more. Not allowed to sit down, I never was able to take a lunch break the whole time I was working there, you're NOT allowed to sit down, the only people who got breaks were ones that smoked, VERY undependable hours.I found the experience very unpleasent seeing as I was not treated as an equal but as a genuine pig.

The most enjoyable part of the job was talking to the people that came down to rentals, teaching them about sking/snowboarding and giving them tips and when they came back to return everything seeing/hearing about how much fun they had and how they'd happily come back because of their great experience.\

Overall, terrible place to work.

A typical day at work would be to go start the ski lift and wait for customers to arrive. It would get very busy in the afternoon the day and at night.
I learned good customer service and how to deal with a situation where someone could get hurt. 
The management was amazing. Made me feel welcomed and happy to come to work. They were also very understanding.
My co-workers were very friendly and easy going. I made very good friends
The hardest part of the job was getting people to respect the rules because they didn't like to listen. It became stressful at times.
The most enjoyable part was watching people learn a new hobby and meeting people who were enjoyable to talk to.

Working for Dagmar Ski Resort was an all around enjoyable experience for me. The staff and management were all great to work with. However, it takes a passion for the job to work there. I learned how to teach and to be patient with others. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to do something I love and share it with others.

I learned how to teacher a lesson and how to work well with others and to become more confident in myself. The management was very well run everyone was well put togther and well organized. The hardest part of the job was getting all the kids to listen to me and pay attention to what I was saying.The most enjoyable part of my job was seeing that I could make a difference in some little kids life when they learned something new from me

I enjoyed working at Dagmar for the most part. I was a ski instructor for kids ages 3-15 usually. I learned valuable customer service skills by dealing with the parents of children. Solid workplace culture. Hardest part of the job was dealing with uncooperative children and the most enjoyable part was being able to ski all day.

this was my favourite that i ever had. it was a blast to teach snowboarding and i highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys winter sports. Working at Dagmar was the highlight of my week and the only reason that i left was just because i had other commitments. if i could still work there i would absolutely take it!

I worked in the kitchen and behind the counter serving food to customers. I loved the atmosphere of working there, the people are amazing and so welcoming! Management is extremely friendly and know how to the run the place effectively! Great seasonal job that I would definitely go back to.

Working at Dagmar Ski Resort was fun and cultivating. The work involved taught me teamwork and leadership skills, as well as interpersonal and social skills. I also developed great time management and responsibility while working at Dagmar.  While a day at work may have seemed long, it was always rewarding to see how you've helped others to learn.

No Wifi, and other modern advancements at the workplace. Due to understaffing, could be asked to work double shifts. Like many places management are good people but Owners are over involved, gossip and watch workers on camera daily.

The management was not well organized and often left the employees in the dark about when they were working until right before.  The shifts are improvised so it makes it difficult to make other plans when you never know when youre going to finish work.
