A typical day at Dagwoods can vary. For the most part during the start of the busy hours (12:00pm-@2:00pm) it can be very fast paced and for newer employees somewhat stressful, but working with 1-2 more people makes the time pass quicker and easier. There are always tasks that need to be done and as a team we cover a lot more ground which makes getting those tasks done a lot easier. Our service level is always 100% and once you have been working there for a couple of months you fall in sync with the staff and the way we handle customer service. For a lot of people the hardest part can be how physically demanding the job can be at certain times but it's important to us that we are each given a bit of time to relax, sit down and eat. I would say the part that is the most enjoyable is once every daily task is complete and everything is stocked and presentable after the rush having that feeling of accomplishment is really great. When the store looks good and when you work with good people, work doesn't really seem like work.

Typical day at work would be dealing with hundreds of customers, serving and entertaining them.
I learned how do deal in stressful environments and act appropriately.
We work as a team, Co-workers aided one another so everything would get done efficiently and on time.
Hardest put of the job was watching the never ending line of customers that kept entering.
Most enjoyable was seeing everyone enjoying our services.

Great company to work for. They sponsor the Montreal Impact and the Grand Prix, which I worked at and was one of the highlights of my 2 years there. I learned to manage multiple tasks and customers at once, because it was a high paced environment, especially during lunch time. The work environment was great and all the coworkers and managers all got along with each other.

Never have I received a raise while working there even though I worked my hardest. I worked there for quite a while and was never treated like a valuable employee. Management is terrible, and they can barely pay their staff what they deserve. The only reason people should work here is if they have no other choice

Great management who instills a very inclusive and positive work culture from your first day on the job. Can't say enough good things about my time there. The food is great, the service is top-notch, and they really make you feel at home during your time there.

I did enjoy my time working for Dagwoods. Where I learned to be productive in a fast paced environment. Make food arrangements and cater for entire schools. I learned to give the customer exactly what they asked for and in a small amount of time.

Employees were extremely nice but there was a bit of a staffing problem where people would work long hours by themselves in a busy downtown area (near Concordia)

It is an extremely welcoming and open work environment that is super fun to work in. If you don't know how to do something their is always someone willing to lend a helping hand or teach you.

Don't work here unless you absolutely need the money. This company is slowly but surely running out of the funds needed to pay its staff, so even then it might not be a good idea to apply.

One of the easiest and best places I've ever worked, but the Owner doesn't take care of the store and is always late with pay and goals. He is super chill, almost frustratingly so.  Overall fun place to work, but don't think you're gonna get paid on time.
