Shift work,   extremely short staffed,   Management don't care about employees.

High staff turnover,   high stress and mental health issues, extremely hostile environment from management,  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
At least 3 sick calls per day during already short scheduled shifts,  Management that don't help staff.  Management hold threat of termination over employees.  All staff work on pins and needles.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The money and tips. The rest is run with no integrity, like the mafia.

Everyone is out to get you.  Theres a running joke of 'im gonna write you up' because it happens so so often and for every and any reason. They run it like a cult. Spying on your social media etc

Two-faced.  They will pretend to be buddy buddy while planning how they wanna take you out

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Horrible. Always lookin over shoulder and wondering who is gonna stab your back

When working at the Casino it was always fast paced and exciting. I worked in the Guest Services Department. A typical day at work was different and at times was stressful, because my Dept was a team we were able to get over the obstacles and rudeness from some of the patrons. The GS Manager was amazing and she solved as many problems as she could.
hardest part about this job was having to deal with a Supervisor that was rude, bossy, and abused her power.

The company and benefits are decent and wage is decent but the people are not worth working for....if they aren't talking with you...theyre talking about you. If you want a stressful gossipy environment. then work there, and they will also look for small reasons to fire you, there is no room for error.  The managers aren't fair, and everyone STAbbbbbs each other in the back.  I would't recommend working here. at all. Save yourself the drama.

Graveyard shifts is the hardest

meeting and greeting coworkers /customers on a daily basis, the hardest part of this job was trying to balance a a work and school environment, the most enjoyable part of that job was having fun with everyone relating to my job!

Best place to work as a dealer.  Good management with good benefits . There company shuttle to and fro to the city.   First Nation employee dont get taxed since it is in reserve land.  And you have 5 more statutory (Indian)days aside from regulars.

I was a floater in the kitchen. I was a dishwasher in the morning and a spare in any of the other jobs. I was a salad maker, Sandwich and did the cleaning before my shift was done. I kept everything cleaned and bleached cooffe pots and other utensils once a week.

assisting patrons with questions or concerns. A very diverse community that worked together to make patrons satisfied. The hardest part would be when its short staffed and its a busy day but the most enjoyable part of the day is watching patrons enjoy themselves laughing and smiling
