It's great belonging to an industry that will never disappear and have stability too. I don't ever worry about losing my job. Dancing Bee welcomed me with open arms, teaching me every aspect of the industry so that I can become an expert and provide valuable advice to beekeepers that come in to buy equipment. It's more than a retail store, we offer advice, training, workshops, equipment and livestock. If you're looking for a career, this is the place to be!! We do work hard, especially in our busier times of the year but we play hard too. My work day goes by quickly. We are lucky to have 2 weeks off between Christmas and New Year every year. Not many companies do that anymore and it's a great time to spend time with your family. I love my job and totally recommend it if you're looking for a career.

Workplace culture is toxic.  Vey poor management.  Managers work from home and email or phone in their orders.  Ridiculous.  Lots of animosity towards management.  No room to achieve any goals.  Similar to Hunger Games.

Some employees are treated very poorly.

So many opportunities and a great pay. 
It has a busy season, naturally as it is a bee keeping business. 
Management is available and listens to your concerns or improvements. 
Great people to work with. 
It’s a growing business that is including all employees in that growth. 
You are free to bring new ideas and collaborate 


There is a lot of uncertainty of how each day will go. One day the owner will come in positive and the next angry. It's not comfortable. The really neat part is learning about Bees.
