This company runs lean on employees, they are short staff in every positions and they expect the impossible from you.They require bilingual drivers, Management has no respect and is prejudiced agains French speaking people. It doesn't take long to realized that it's not the job you 
were promised. 



They make you feel guilty if you need days off for sickness or vacation because they don't have a replacement for you. You are dealing with smelly stinky biohazard materials all day. Drivers and the plant workers are two different breads, the plant and office staff sticks together and makes all the planning decisions without any inputs from the drivers. The drivers are the forefront of the company and are treated like outsiders, without the truck drivers the plant would not have any garbage to process. I have to say this as been one of my worst work experience ever.

The day starts with loading your truck with product driving to set customers, removing filled containers and loading securely on truck to transport to weigh station. You then unload and weigh everything. No help for loading/ unloading truck. Paperwork must be filled daily. 
Always a constant worry about being replaced. No onsite management. Promises are not kept by management. Job is precarious as they are constantly searching for a cheaper worker. Kudos from head office mean nothing. Driving abilities and skills not required. Customer service not a required skill. 
No matter how good you are at your job, they will keep the worst drivers because they will settle for less pay. 
Overall a bad experience.


Will expect you to perform without communicating what performance expectations are, and then will penalize you for not executing those expectations. 

Management does not find any value to employees at all, until you threaten to quit. 

For a multi - million dollar organization, are very stingy with pay, making just above poverty line. 

Tenured employees make less than 5% more than new hires. 

Great if you are starting off, or have a couple of years' experience under your belt and looking to move ahead, but get your time in and move on. 

OK for people that are just staring out of school.
Good for work experience, to say you find out what it is like to have a full time job. a typical learn as you go job. Lots of lifting.
Work in a humid hot atmosphere.
Little instruction before starting a task.
Safety at a medium standard considering one has to work with blood pathogens sharp needles all around dangerous goods handling.

The moment I have to go to work, this job becomes stressful; it's a shi… company

Nothing  good on this company

Very stressful and low salary

This company is running by the Management who  works from head Office in Toronto. 
They will video call you to discuss your issue and then say its your fault because whatever you say thats not true. 
Stressful work environment. 
No job Security 
They also delete negative reviews online thats why they have high ratings on google. So donot just trust them
Its all fake.

I just recently worked for this company in Moncton NB.  The manager in charge is absolutely indifferent in regards to safety. 
   As a route driver, I was required to handle sharps containers that were often spilled and open. Also the manager required me to handle by hand, bags of anatomical waste without any protection. Some of those bags had leaking bodily fluids and blood. 
   If you are concerned for your health, Daniels healthcare should be avoided.

Not much, co workers are great in team,, that's it

Not valued, alot of work for no money

Working very hard for no money

Typical work day was exhausting.
I always learn something from every job I'm on.
Management needs more training with hourly employees.
Co workers can only be as good as their training allows.
Understanding why instructions change so many times in any given day.
Getting good product out each day to our customers.

Local management from Abbotsford are fantastic to work with, the guys in nanaimo are also great to work with. The job description makes the work sound really unappealing but it's not, everything is really clean and organized but the pay is horribly low
