What is the best part of working at the company?
My coworkers. I enjoyed the people that I worked with. They were easy to get along with. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management was really poor and people that worked in other departments could be very rude and ill mannered at times. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It’s not very good. We were short staffed a lot of and it made work stressful having to do the work of 2-3 people at times. A lot of people complain a lot and it makes the environment a bit hostile and toxic. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Shorted staffed. Being told to do more than one persons job. Very stressful and overwhelming a lot of the time.

Admitting patients when they come in to see a doctor to receive medical bracelet. Bring patients back to triage waiting are and preparing patient charts. Working at the ward clerk desk sending blood samples to the labs and ordering meals and transferring patients to beds after being admitted. Consult with charge nurse and doctors to complete patient discharges, Fast paced environment with a high patient volume. The staff was friendly and very efficient and department had a positive morale. The job could sometimes be stressful when there were more patients than beds available so wait time could be very high. Best part of the job was knowing patients would get the care they needed.

coordinate intenal and external deliveries of supplies to multiple site within organization.
I learned everybody plays a part, no matter how small.
Autonomy is important.

Being able to help at the Dartmouth General Hospital, the patients appreciate the effort that you are making so they feel as comfortable as they can with all the medical criteria they are facing.

Staff are overworked,overwhelmed,short staffed every shift  
Felt like I was just a number...large staff turnover.
Some shifts no breaks,very warm place in summer for staff...let alone patients.
Not the cleanest place

The staff are the most amazing people I have had the pleasure to work with, everyone looks after each other, always looking to help each other help the patients feel better and recover with comfort and compassion.

Very stressful environment for international nurses. Always short staffed felling exhausted at all times. The pay is not that great considering the amount of stress

Learned how medications were seperated and sorted, as well as it went in for a job shadowing. I did not earn money off of this it was just for a learning experience.

Working full scope of practice working collaboratively with all staff in fast paced environment caring for patients in a medical floor with great management accommodating work schedule

The management don’t care at all over work you Change your shifts without telling you all the full-time union people Colin sick so you have to do twice your work load every shift
