Like any seasonal construction job, the work is dependent on weather. 
There are always micro emergencies that get dealt with fast and in timely manner. 
Do they have flaws, yup. But they acknowledge them and move on..
They literally have guys who started in the ditch years ago that are in the office and in high up, key positions in company's they actually know how to do the job. 

Good work environment, friendly coworkers. All employees are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to teach new comers how to do their job safely and efficiently. Advancement and competitive salaries make for a good place to work.

New work for me. Train as you go. Only worked for this company for 1 full season and a bit before they did some major cutbacks. They treat you well with extra benefits ( lunches, clothing etc. ) No discrimination if you are female. Excellent pay and benefits. Enjoyed the work and overall experience.

I have been working with Degner construction since 2016. From the office staff to our superintendents foreman's are safety wise and support workers in all areas of the water and sewer industry. Work hard get rewarded. Stay working longer as the season winds down. Just a terrific place to work.

stressful hours and they pushed on everyone to do too much and did not give clear instructions on how what or even when we were doing the task they had got us to do around the site or packing the truck

Nice pace and very good supervision,always set the pace and scope of the job, and good direction.I felt like a part of the team there,and the crews were good to work with…

For the two seasons I have worked for the company I've found everyone to be hard workers and if you run in to difficulties the foreman and supers are more than willing to explain where you might be running into difficulties

I worked for Degner for 3.5 Seasons, and only left because I felt like I needed a change. I truely enjoyed my job, even on the bad days, and I can't wait to see if I can go back for this new season after my time away.

Good place to work. Close to the city and always have summer work. Usually here every summer when i can. Very straightforward and upfront on tasks. One of the better water and sewer companies ive worked for

One of the best companies I've worked for in the past years. Very excited to be called back in the spring. I just wish they worked all year round because I hate being laid off in the fall.
