I've been with Del Rentals for almost 8 years and it has been so amazing.
I love my job, I'm always growing and learning, I always feel heard and there is a real open door policy with management. I know first hand that the company is always striving for excellence and never compromises. Leadership is always looking for ways to add value, both to employees as well as clientele, always searching for areas to improve. 

They went above and beyond during the pandemic and did everything in their power (literally everything) to not lose employees due to budget cuts. You can always know how a company treats its employees by the amount of time people have stayed. We have many people who've been with the company for 20+ years, we've had multiple people retire after many years. Those numbers speak for themselves. Culture is amazing (mind you, during covid, all social gatherings were cancelled and everyone working from home does take its toll on culture. But that's the pandemic's fault.)

I was on the social committee for many years and I've never seen such a big social committee budget. Managment really wanted the employees to have fun...not just standard free lunches but full on fun filled days...lazer tag, games night, standup comedy, boat tours, day at the cottage, bowling, all inclusive paid trips overseas, weekends in Blue Mountain and Vinyard tours in Niagara on the Lake. Some of these were during business hours!
I rememeber one year, management wanted to really empower us to be our own CEO in whatever we did, so they paid for 2 full Robin Sharma leadership workshops, allowed us to watch the videos during business hours, and allotted an hour a week to sit together and share our thoughts regarding that week's "episode". 

 I'm fortunate to have experienced the company pre-covid. I miss the social gatherings, the group lunches in the beautiful common lunch room, the chit chat around the office, all of it. 

I totally see myself retiring from Del Rentals, it is really the best place. 

Dynamic and always looking for ways to improve the experience both inside and outside of the organization is how I would summarize Del Rentals. 

Leadership is focused on the health and wellbeing of their team members consistently and actively seeking feedback for improvement. Everything from more sick days to role specific training. This is a company that is in it for the long -term and understands that success can only be achieved through their people. 

The organization as a whole is also acutley aware that they are in a customer centric business that has innate stress. They work with their teams to improve processes to reduce burden while maximizing both organizational results and filling roles to enable the team to have a strong work-life balance. 

The company is not perfect - but none are. The key thing in my opinion is that leadership is always listening and striving towards the perfection their teams and clients expect. 

Pros: Del Rentals is filled with many kind and hard-working colleagues who are always willing to lend a helping hand! In my 8-plus years of experience working in the field, this is the first company I've worked with that encourages teamwork and sincerely cares for their people. If issues arise and mistakes are made, we take the time to figure out how we can learn from the situation to improve service, rather than just point fingers and play the blame game.

Cons: There's been some backlogs in communication and training inconsistencies in some departments, mostly due to management changeover or employee changes during COVID. However, these issues are being addressed and changes are being made for the better :) Benefits are decent! Compensation could be higher as well based on employee experience and responsibilities.

Advice to Management: Continue to keep in touch with your team members, encourage positive morale, and check in when things get overwhelming.

Even though many people in the company have been there a long time, everyone is friendly and approachable.  Management values employee feedback and encourages you to speak up.  I’ve seen some decisions made from employees’ input which is nice.  They recognize people’s skills even those beyond the job requirements.  I like that about this company.  It made me feel more invested.  I saw some people gave a different review, but in my experience, management expectations were fair.  
Workplace culture and wellness are observed to the max here.  They have this system where you can reward your colleagues with points and you can redeem points for gift cards.  During monthly meetings, lunch was either catered or the team was treated to a lunch-out.  Even during Covid, they continued with monthly activities (like birthday zoom celebs, trivia games, meditation, etc).  They took a lot of precautions with Covid and put the employee first. 
 All in all, it was a productive working environment and there’s a good team of people behind it.

The company has evolved and developed over the years to not only meet the needs of the clients, but the employees as well. 

The past few years has seen the need to adjust to working from home, virtual recruiting and training and a stronger focus on employee mental health and well being. In my opinion, the company has done well to adapt.

I am proud to be a part of this organization that has been very supportive as it charts new courses for growth and development. 

I am very impressed with the diversity and the skill set of the talented team members that work hard every day to look after the needs of our clients




Effective property management , DCR work closely with tenants providing a great experience.
All the services at Del Condominium Rentals are the staff, not outsourcing ensuring constant communication and confidentiality.
Working from home the team stays in touch with teams ensuring we keep in touch with special announcements both personal and work related. When able to be in office, it is very friendly, you can even take your dog to work if needed.

I was placed in charge of leasing a brand new building (roughly 250 suites). Del Rentals provided me with all the tools to succeed in the best possible way. They care about their employees and cherish team collaboration. Everyone works extremely hard, and always has a smile on their face in the office or on the screen. You truly are welcomed at Del Rentals
