Working at Delta 9 is a great place to work at, they provide education about cannabis and how the sales and procedures must be followed. Management is friendly and willing to work with their employees, work place is friendly, the hardest part of the job is probably... trying to understand all the product in the store to ensure what you are selling to customers, the most enjoyable part of the job is helping customers find what they are looking for and ensuring quality customer service.

Management couldn't care less about their employees. They don't take the time to even pretend about your well being or future aspirations, horrible communication and honesty there hasn't been a team meeting in years. 
No wonder hardly anyone sticks around.
Tenured employees get treated no differently than new hires and barely a difference in wage. The scheduled hours are inconsistent  and vary. The good customer interactions are one of the very few enjoyable parts of one's day, along with an employees discount. Overall its a emotionally draining and toxic work space with no room for emmployee advancement. Wouldn't recommend working for this company unless you want to waste your time. Also the flower is bottom teir at best.

I've worked here for 3 years now and it's been horrible ever since I was hired. The managers this company decides to hire are so self absorbed and don't care about the consultants at all, only the key holders for scheduling. New policies came in and ruined everything about the cash system so everything crashes constantly or you have to wait minutes to finish a transaction, IT here is horrible and the guy we work with is highly misogynistic. If you're indigenous and looking to work here, DON'T, they aren't inclusive as they express themselves to be as a company. Delta 9 was already bad before new ownership but now FIKA has ruined its quality.

Working for Delta 9 & Fika has been such an amazing experience. The company itself ensures that both staff and customers stay engaged with not only top tier product but also monthly contests. They take any criticism very seriously and do everything they can rectify it. The hours are very flexible, the  cannabis training is starting to get better now that we have an app that was created for us to learn and stay knowledgable. Fika allows each store to partake in community events which is huge for getting our name out there. It's been lovely. 

My time at the delta 9 store in lloydminster was interesting. I loved my job and my coworkers, but the manager on the other hand. The manager just sits in the office and watches videos and eat. She has no will to help customers and doesn’t understand how to lead by example. She has no manager/personal line to the point she will add you to every social media platform. Other than the manager I enjoyed all the education I received to be good at my job. The pay was decent. Discount was alright.

Was a great experience when I started but has ever since deteriorated and the decisions made by the FIKA company since their acquisition have been dreadful. They cut employee pay from $20/hr for keyholders down to as little as $17/hr, showing little regard for years of loyalty and work put into the company, and introduced a nonfunctional points system and menial busywork in its place. Would not recommend whatsoever under FIKA.

Props goes to manager John and supervisor Lars, it has been an amazing journey . Though I had no knowledge of industry, with their support now I am thriving in it. 
Very easy process from interview to training to transitioning on the floor was just amazingly out together. Couldn't been better

Clueless, callous management. 
Seniority, merit, and job performance mean nothing.
Toxic coworkers are often rewarded.
You're often punished for going above and beyond. 
Jealous and immature coworkers and managers. Drama.


No benefits. No weekends off.
Wish I never left superstore.

Management is no good. From the top down they all need to find other things to sell. Cannabis is not for them. They couldn’t grow it and they have no clue how to sell it either. Save the time and effort and wait for a better opportunity because this company is not one.
