The best part of working at Delta Airlines is the strong team culture and the emphasis on safety, professionalism, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part is managing time critical situations under pressure and extremely bad weather , but I’ve learned to stay calm, communicate clearly, and follow procedures to handle it effectively.

It’s a fast paced, safety focused, and team driven environment with a culture of professionalism, accountability, and mutual respect.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
My typical day is fast paced and structured, focused on safety, teamwork, clear communication, and completing tasks accurately and on time.

A typical day at Northwest airlines would include me dealing with customers from all over the world. A lot of my work included translating for my coworkers and for customs. I've learned to respect and communicate with people of diverse ethnic backgrounds. The hardest part of the job was learning to work under stress but that is something I have been able to successfully overcome. I had a respectable relationship with my managers as they frequently promoted positive synergy between all levels of employment. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to meet so many wonderful people and of course, travelling and being exposed to different ways of life.

It was a great job, always working with a great group of people, always meeting new people, and seeing different cultures. The winters were really busy, the hardest part is delays or cancellations dealing with irate passengers who missed their flight, or not being able to get them out on time due to weather or mechanical issues, but its all about knowing how to deal with them, keep a smile on your face, and dont take anything personally. Everyday was was different, the best part about the airline business is making someones day, turning their bad day around or helping someone out with disabilities, makes you feel good knowing that your doing good for others in every way you can.

What is the best part of working at the company?
It was terrible to work there. The management sucks big time. They used people zero compassion their employees. Worse place to work specially at YUL airport. 


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
A very stressful job and they forced you to stay hours after your shift ended. They overwork their employees and there is a lot of favorism  going on there. They prefer certain kind of people. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Zéro culture mostly white Italians. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressfully day doing mostly checking at the counter.

My duty is to ensure that each Passenger Service Agent is aware of their job position each day via duty roster. ensure that our agents have the required tools to carry out their function. Ensure that the sales collection for the day is properly closed out and turned over to management after the day's operation.

The most challenging part of my duty was trying to make myself available to all areas of the operation when our agents needed my help.

The best part of this job was getting our flight out on time or earlier everyday.

Typical day can be waiting on your flight to arrive so you can work your flight.
I learned a lot about the aviation world.  There is sooooo much to learn. If you like working with aircraft, this is the job for you.
Management listens to you, if their hands are not tied to your requests it will get done.
Hardest part of the job is weather.  Can be difficult to work in extreme cold or heat.
Most enjoyable part of the job are the people you work with and the benefits, great flight privileges.

DL treats their staff very well with great training and advancement opportunities.

Unforeseen events - weather, geopolitical, events which affect flight schedules and impact customers

Each day is different - planning, meetings, servicing and some travel.

The training was good and they try to make it a fun place to work, but everyone had a breadwinner spouse, multiple jobs, or roommates. It is shameful that a company of this size cannot pay people a living wage - even though we were the income drivers of the company! They focus so much on keep call times short that they can't see how many mistakes people make in their rush to get off the phone. Even our managers didn't make that much money, so I felt like there was nowhere to go within unless I was willing to move to another state.

A PLACE WHERE EMPLOYEES WORK TOGETHER TO ACHEIVE ONE GOAL YOUR EFFERTS NEVR GOES UNNOTICED A TYPICAL DAY IS FASTPACE MANAGEMENT I GOOD CO_WORKERS IS ALWAYS TOGETHER ALWAYS WORK AS A TEAM HAREST PART OF THE JOB IS WHEN THERE IS A SHORT STAFF SITUATION THE MOST ENJOYABLE IS WHEN THERE IS A 100% ON TIME  DEPARTURE .

great company to work for if you are employed in the united states , in canada it bad because its part of union which is united steel workers . bully union representatives and delta management in toronto have zero care for employees . Union takes most of your money with zero job protection.
