What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing, wasted 5 years of my life there. You're over worked, under appreciated and overall underpaid, and there's no room for personal growth or improvement 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They purposely keep the kitchen understaffed for better bonus for the managers. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic and basically and glorified high-school day care.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and irritating, with no break

Management is very supportive, you work hard! pleasing guests is a must. Fellow employees fun, very hard working (there is always the one) 
Each department works as a team and all are very supportive.
Open door policy, but don't expect sympathy or special treatment, 
I enjoyed my time there. I had back issues and could not stand for long hours, I eventually had surgery and needed to find a sit down job.

Typical day at work is arriving at the office, check emails, left alone to complete daily and monthly tasks. Management did not micromanage however had a monthly meeting with individuals for work updates. The hardest part of the job was the heavy workload. The most enjoyable part of the job was the work/life balance. Freedom to take any time needed as long as the work was completed by deadlines set forth by management.

I really enjoyed working for Delta South Calgary. Management are excellent and very supportive. Training is provided. One big family there. Schedules very weekends are part of the job. There is advancement with Delta, Benefits are suitable.

This job has kept me busy for 5 years. I have learned a lot from all the Managers and different co-workers that have come through. I have been taught many more skills than I started out with and been challenged to learn and do more in my time here. 

The biggest challenge is the age of the building- there is a lot of issues with heating and cooling and boilers, but it has been something that has taught me many new things/

In a typical day at Delta  if Im room attendant I have to finish the 16 rooms given to me in 8 hours.As a laundry attendant i have to iron 100 sheets in 1 hour.I have a unique position as I work both room attendant and laundry attendant.I an pretty comfortable with the people i work with.I will help out in whatever way i can to support my department and do my very best every day.

Many loyal employees who have worked for Delta over a decade have been worked to the bone without any appreciation. No raises.  Its disgusting. I was considered a good employee by multiple managers, however I am happy that I will never return to Delta Calgary South.  After having worked for better companies, I am appauled at how they treat alot of their employees.

DCS provides a high energy, fast paced work environment with enough to keep you feeling challenged and plenty of room to learn and grow. 
The people working there are equally high energy and a fun to work with.
Wage and salary increases are performance based so if you are a go-getter, you can do well at DCS.

Great place to work for, very professional and had really nice manger and co-workers.  I loved working for Delta Calgary good people, environment and management.

Management heavy.  Not enough staff.  Annual bonus was $96 for maint manager.  Was promised much better.  Owner profited same year 8 million dollars.  Loss of values.
