Delta View Life Enrichment Centre

Delta view has multiple units within the building and due to that, casual care staff are thrown around the building from unit to unit. I would start to get used to the routines and residents in a unit, then the schedular would move me to a different unit. It was exhausting and was constantly being told that I wasn’t good enough after only working in certain units for a week. There is no teamwork between care aides and nurses don’t trust them at all. I would not recommend this place for anyone to work here or have their family member stay here.

Delta view is big place. It has almost 300 residents are in complex care and some residents are living in the assisted living. It is a family own business and they have almost 120 people are working for them. It is on very good location right out of the town in very peaceful farmland. It is good place to work and start our cerrier. It is very beautiful from inside and outside. The workers are good they provide best services to their residents and their familes.

transfer resident in/out of bed, to/from a wheelchair , toilet, and chair using 1/2 person assistance or mechanical lifts as per residents care plan.

My first job after graduating from the health care aid program at KPU was at Delta View Life Enrichment Centre since that was where I had my practicum. The staff are great, and I loved working with everyone on each unit. Working at Delta View has taught me how to be a strong team member, but also be independent on my own while taking care of residents and juggling all the responsibilities.

I learned how to operate and manage residents who are in dialysis. I also learned to served clients with different ethnic background and culture. It's a rewarding job able to enrich the lives of senior residents and provide them with love.

Delta View is an ideal place to work, employees are respected and appreciated by the residents as well as the management. 
 Overall speaking, it would be an ideal place for students or volunteer to obtain a nice, meaningful experience.

We  often have pot log during the lunch time, for staff's special day. We come from different country, have different culture background, at this moment, everyone will very happy and relax.

Any job, have vary difficulties, for me, I learned more about  team work   is so important ,

They are always under staffed.Managment is very unfriendly .A huge turn over in staff .They hire mostly their own kind .You will regret working here !

By far the best job! It is a great place to work. People are very nice and super helpful. The management team is great. The CEO of the place is amazing! Very knowledgeable, very sweet lady.
