Many of the positions have very repetitive tasks, somewhat like a large scale assembly line.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
8 hrs with 1/2 unpaid for lunch and 2 15 min breaks

This company has an ever changing method of operation as it is on the small side, but that means one has to stay engaged and want to learn and improve. I have never felt more engaged in the process or that my opinion matters anywhere more than Delton Cabinets. Staff are friendly and willing to take time to help or answer questions if need be. Still a sales job and hustle is a must. Of course! You are part of the process. 

Pay is pretty good, especially if you work the evening/night shift. The two machining foremen are great, but under a lot of stress. All cabinet parts are stored using half pallets so lots of bending down and can be really tough on your back. The owner also comes down into the shop and just watches the employees for good lengths of time. 

Lots of things to learn helpful coworkers. High quality cabinets, enjoyed cabinetmaking. 
Disorganized between night and day time staff, High turn around, supervisor put too much pressure on new apprentices which lead to unsafe work environment. 
Always running around looking for parts. 
High stress with little payoff. No overtime compensation, unpaid breaks. 





I worked nights, it was fun till they started taking advantage of me and the schedule. They don’t pay overtime, they bank the hours? They ask you to work overtime but don’t pay it. Supervisor in the shipping area very unprofessional and should be retrained. 

Very negative people all the time and management is not good harassment is a big thing and nothing positive comes out of this place overtime u will never get paid for unless u work over 44 hours a week.

Lots of bullying, gossip, and negative behavior by management.
No organization. 
Poison in the bloodstream of the company.
No OT, No 40 hr work week, benefits are good, but very expensive

Do not work or shop here.  HORRIBLE SERVICE, management harassment is rampant had many instances of being promised raises only to be denied later.  Plant manager needs to learn how to do his job and stop hitting on staff.

Lots of work in the busy seasons, often layoffs in the fall. Great staff. Facilities could use an upgrade or makeover in the shop. Fast paced but well organized.
