Walk through the building, boiler room and outside area, then open the office. deal with work orders and maintenance issues/repairs. 
answer many phone calls, cleaned building. 
I learned to be tolerant of others and their needs, I learned to replace kitchen and bathroom all taps. soldering  pipes and replacing electrical light fixtures.
Co-workers were at head office and were very helpful.
dealing with the property manager, and taking out all the garbage that came down the chute to a carousel and carry the 75 pd bags up stairs to dumpsters.
having a quiet night or day with no repairs to be made.

Typical work: Clients accounts - reconciliation; administration; month-end beginning/end procedures; daily accounts activities; bank postings; monthly reporting to management; revenue analysis.

New skills: additional accounting program; relationship with various people; Ontario rent regulation.

Co-workers: as friendly as could be.

The hardest part of the job: Workload is too much for one person to handle (however the management created second, additional position for this type of work after I left); the software needed upgrade.

The most enjoyable part of the job: Independency; companionship with the clients.

There is really never a "typical" day at work, One of the reasons i love the job.

I have learned allot, and hopefully taught allot as well.  Co-workers pleasant and helpful.

Management is great, but support staff are top heavy, and most have not been in the buildings they support.

Work culture is laid back for the most part.

Hardest part of the job, leasing a unit and not delivering a finished product, extremely frustrating at times.

Most enjoyable part of the job for me personally is seeing new tenants settled in and are happy they made the move to our location.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Having the responsibility of the complete building doing everything that needed to be done taking care of the tenant doing all the work orders by myself and didn't need supervising and making the owner satisfied 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Making all the tenants satisfied without any complaint 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Cleaning floors vacuming every mostly every and doing the work order that needed to be done keeping the maintenance order supply on top

No management support!  Left alone without any formate, policy's or procedures!  If you have many years of experience, it doesn't help because they won't share their plan as THEY DON'T HAVE ONE!!
My experience shows that most companies don't except a scant few!!
You're usually set up to fail and/or be the brunt of their failures to have a concrete plan!!  Fly by the seat of your pants management!!  Hoping the owner(s) won't notice!!

Typical day at work i would, check in with co-workers and see what needed to be done, start as soon as i was aware of what was needed to be done, get a 45-60 minute lunch break, go back to work until end of the day. I learned how to operate landscaping equipment, how to stock inventory, and work well with co-workers. The most enjoyable part of the job was learning things hands on!

The owner is oblivious to the incompetence of his senior staff. Property Managers are concerned with bonuses for themselves rather than running a building properly. You submit orders for equipment and supplies only to have the list denied or cut so low that it is almost impossible to do your job. 

I wasn't very happy working there. There is no human resource department so employees have nowhere to turn for any issue, especially serious ones. This was difficult to deal with when issues came up especially with management. 

Office Manager has no clue of what she is doing and office accounts receivable girl gossips about it and refers herself as if what would happen to the company if she weren't there. Heavy atmosfere where nobody trust anybody.
