Unless you’re 15 years old this place is not a good place to work. The management at this golf course is so far beyond sub par its sad. I was given a far better impression of the culture there than what is actually present. As someone with real experience I am no longer there as its difficult to work for management who is not capable of doing their jobs. They have no respect for staff at all, as the wait staff is not even allowed to eat the food there.  I started august 23 and left sept 8. I have not been paid once by them even though i have already emailed, called and gone in person. For such a great golf course with a great reputation the management staff really should be embarrassed with how they are running things. 
I am currently still waiting for my first payment bow on october 11 despite starting august 23

the pulpit kitchen was a summer job and within the first month i was motivated to do everything as flawlessly as possible no matter how significant the task. Within the second month my work was noticed and i was offered a position as a line cook. it was great to see someone else notice your work.

Over 40 hours of work a week starting at 6am every morning.  Good learning environment for the basics of the work needed to maintain a golf course.  Management was hit or miss, some were very reasonable while others lack communication.  Hardest part was working 12 days in a row then only getting two days off;  leading to very sore muscles and a much needed rest.  Great people to work with, and overall a good part time job for students looking for a summer job

Great place to work, always providing opportunities for young people. The work is not extremely fun; mowing grass and raking sands will be your most common job, and it gets a bit old after the first few months. On the bright side, you have plenty of opportunities to work with others and have a fun social network of employees. Management treats you relatively well, and you are in charge of your day for the most part. Overall decent job for those looking for a summer gig. 

you would have to keep busy, if there is not tables then stock the fridges, clean tables/bar, stock coffee station and clean/stock your side of the kitchen. the atmosphere is amazing all the workers and managers/supervisors are very kind and want you to succeed during your  time there. They give you amazing opportunities and teach you new interesting things (e.g about wine, management of company, communication skills)

Fast-paced, high intensity work that is physically demanding. You will work in snow, rain and blazing heat! The tasks are detail oriented and require dedication and good time management.

Enjoyed working there, members are fantastic, but servers could make a lot more money somewhere else (it is a no tipping environment).  Management is half and half, some very kind and helpful, some very rude and strict.

Not the same workplace as when I started: mostly a place where students (under-25) get some experience, but can't pay off their student loans if they remain.

Have to work well with others.
Have to have good communication skills as you communicate constantly with members at the golf course and the other staff who work their.

Good place to work. Great people to work with, and a company that treats employees fairly. Awesome golf courses.Sometimes hard to get a round in but worth the wait.
